I can't shake the uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. This isn't a typical "bad day feeling." It's the first time in my life that I feel I'm not in control of my future.

Doom for who? TPTB? Oh yeah. Doom on them. They're the ones that should be scared shitless. There is a price to be paid for what they have done. IMO it is just the natural result. They built a house of cards but called it a castle. One good breeze. Just one. Us? I see a change coming. Some bad, mostly good. I believe that even the bad has good purpose. Interesting time to be alive, isnt it? .

Sorry, when disturbances start in the tropics that the National Weather Service deems worthy of checking out, they give them a number. They start with 90 at the beginning of the season for some reason and they add the letter "L" for Atlantic. Hence, 90L. They'll probably send out some aircraft to give this a look over. Beginning of the season, and it looks like it may be a wicked one. I've become something of a 'cane watcher since moving to Houston. Lived through enough here in just a few years to have a lot of curiosity and lots of respect for tropical cyclones.
