The next time you struggle to comprehend how someone could spend their time trolling the Internet in order to defend and downplay whatever government cover-up or abuse is in the news this week, consider the fact that they may be on a government payroll. The Canadian government has been caught paying a media group to monitor online political discussion and respond to “misinformation,” in order words to spread state-sanctioned propaganda, in the latest scandal to hit the Harper administration. “Under the pilot program the Harper government paid a media company $75,000 to monitor and respond to online postings about the east coast seal hunt,” reports News1130. “The government has a lot of power, that it feels the need to monitor public bulletin boards, or places where people express views and then to respond to that, seems to me going beyond a reasonable action the government should be taking,” said UBC Computer Science professor and President of the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association, Richard Rosenberg. A poll carried on the News1130 website shows that the majority of respondents, 77 per cent, are not intimidated by the fact that the government is monitoring their online conversations, and would not regulate the information they post on the Internet. Accusations that people who defend the seemingly indefensible in the aftermath of government atrocities, wars and scandals are in the pay of unscrupulous authorities, circulate on a regular basis. But the fact is that governments and transnational corporations have made a habit of using the Internet to spread propaganda by using individuals who pose as neutral observers. The innovator of these “black propaganda” techniques was undoubtedly Monsanto, who as far back the late 90’s were creating “fake citizens” via their PR front company Bivings to post messages on Internet bulletin boards lauding the virtues and scoffing at the dangers of genetically modified food. In the 21st century, governments try to harness the power of manufacturing fake consensus in order to dictate reality and justify their actions. Last year, the Israeli government announced that it would be setting up a network of bloggers to combat websites deemed “problematic” by the Zionist state following a massive online backlash to Israel’s brutal bombing of Gaza. Israel’s goal was to flood Internet message boards in English, French, Spanish and German with their own PR agents who would attempt to manufacture a contrived consensus that the IDF’s actions were justified. Like Israel, the U.S. military industrial complex hires armies of trolls to spew propaganda in defense of the war on terror and in support of bombing whatever broken-backed third world country is being targeted next. CENTCOM has programs underway to infiltrate blogs and message boards to ensure people, “have the opportunity to read positive stories,”presumably about how Iraq is a wonderful liberated democracy and the war on terror really is about protecting Americans from Al-CIAda. In May 2008, it was revealed that the Pentagon was expanding “Information Operations” on the Internet with purposefully set up foreign news websites, designed to look like independent media sources but in reality carrying direct military propaganda. More recently the New York Times published an exposé on how privately hired operatives were appearing on major US news networks promoting the interests and operations of the Pentagon and generating favorable news coverage of the so-called war on terror while posing as independent military analysts. This operation was formally announced In 2006 when the Pentagon set up a unit to “better promote its message across 24-hour rolling news outlets, and particularly on the internet”. Again, the Pentagon said the move would boost its ability to counter “inaccurate” news stories and exploit new media. Last year, the US Air Force announced a “counter-blog” response plan aimed at fielding and reacting to material from bloggers who have “negative opinions about the US government and the Air Force.” The plan, created by the public affairs arm of the Air Force, includes a detailed twelve-point “counter blogging” flow-chart that dictates how officers should tackle what are described as “trolls,” “ragers,” and “misguided” online writers.

The best way to catch them is in their own lies. Another option is in deleting their blog comments. Another option is to check their IPs when they are questionable posters. That doesn't always work, but it is a tool in the toolbox that I have found NO ONE that owns a board will even discuss. .

Fucking priceless! I'm sure the the psychos are yucking it up over that one. They are using our own money to kill us (vaccines, GMOs, wars, fluoride, chemtrails, and on and on...), oppress us, steal even more, promote the use of debilitating drugs (such as Prozac, Zoloft, Luvox etc.,), dumb down, and drug into imbecilitiy (Ritalin, Adderol, etc., ...), our children to turn them into easily manipulated Sheeple, and all the while paying for Internet 'bots to promote the official lyin'. What's there not to like? Just check over at Freeptardia and Defective Underground and you'll see support for all of that. It's so disgusting you have to either laugh or cry or both.

And my first and foremost thought was that if they're doing that in Canada you know it's been going on here in the States for a while now, contrary to the lies that may insist that it isn't. Of course it is and it has been since, I am sure, before I began posting on Forums back in 2001 - pre 911. I noticed it within weeks posting on various Indymedia sites as there were certain posters who would stick to the exact same lines regardless of how many times they were convincingly and factually refuted. The Israelis, all smoke to the contrary, were already on forums in force in 2001 when I began posting. You could see it in the pro-war arguments, the lies, the deceit, and the repetition of various propaganda lines in support of first invading Pipelinestan and later Eye-rack. They were transparent and obvious to anyone who understood basic logic and had a command of some of the key basic facts which they were distorting. Their presence was made apparent because if you offered any criticism of Israeli War Crimes or mass murder however mild you could expect to be attacked within minutes if not seconds. It has continued to present time and with more and more agencies, public and private, getting into the spin and disinformation game. We even have some of them on this forum masquerading as "real people", they just have to be a little more subtle here as the obvious lies don't work - so they push hate etc., and try to poison the debate. There are a few dead giveaways that are 'bot signatures. For one, no matter how well documented, will they will never ever admit that there are any inconsistencies or lies in the government/USrael propaganda. You can ask wudidiz about that one - I pointed it out for him back on El Pee before I got banned for exposing Goldi-Pox as the bought and paid for Israwhore that she is. That is one of the later tactics developed by some Psych think-tank, probably CIA/Mossad, where certain key Forums have been "bought". The ones that come to mind that are likely in that category are "Free Republic", Liberty Post, Democratic Underground, Huffington Post, and Daily Kos. There are no doubt others. The giveaway on El Pee was when Goldi-Pox, who chronically complained of money problems and was out of work for an extended period, stopped remembering to hold "pledge drives" to support the forum bandwidth - while it was growing rapidly. However, there are "tools" which make spotting the various shills, PR Agency Hacks, paid 'bots, and Israel First Hasbara rather easy. It is called LOGIC and I mean in the formal sense of understanding the basics of sound argumentation and the most common logical fallacies. That one really became apparent in debating 911, and in particular with yuktard on El Pee, as the moment they admit to even one inconsistency their position begins to erode. So, they are trapped by that very inability to admit to any contradictory fact - which is also why NIST has had to revise its reports trying to invent a reason for WTC 7 collapsing. It is also why disinformation pieces, such at the Popular Mechanics Hit Piece/Disinfo Piece are planted in the Lamestream Media - to give the various 'bots and shills something to use as a "counter-authority". Of course that didn't work out too well - as the link to Cherthoff came out very quickly - and his mother admitted that they knew each other after Cherthoff denied being aware of him. I am convinced that Forums are watched and used to try to formulate counter arguments, or support, for the official propaganda. The problem the controllers run into is that a lot of the legitimate posters are a lot brighter and more articulate than their 10 dollar an hour shills. Funny how that works. ;-)

There must be something about logic, its two-edged sword aspect, that has conditioned so many to fear and avoid its use, like the deliberate math-a-phobia the practice prisons (schools) encourage. Once you learn to use it in your thinking process, you are automatically ejected from the mediaMatrix, as the battery minder senses that you are about to send tears into the illusion and may wake up your neighboring batteries. That fear may be enough to stop most still comfortable in the herd from learning to shoot straight arrows of thought. Graduating from logic to reason is the tough step, trained liars can tie you up in knots of paradox if they use logic out of context and assumptions without valuation. Reason requires the weighing of values, the sifting of facts for value, accuracy and meaning. Logic/Reason even holds the keys to misunderstandings/conflicts between the sexes, providing a cross-platform technology to bridge the gap between the male and female operating systems (OS) and quickly settles just who are the more effective self-programmers of their respective operating systems! Thanks, and I have the psychic scars to prove it. ;-) Important point on more than one level. You'll never make a good drone - you see through the fog too well. Math is a pet peeve as the sabotage of math education has been something which has been really detrimental to the level of discourse and the ability of people to think clearly. Geometry in particular (I won't even go into my opinions on the teaching of Calculus which seems designed to take simple concepts and make them as difficult as possible to comprehend as this is allegedly a family forum) since Euclidean Plane Geometry was my first introduction to formal logic. Of course that was long before I encountered Non-Euclidean Geometry and Topology, but then this is not a discourse on abstract geometries. ;-) I've learned how to defang the paradoxes but it is a little work - usually taking 3 to 5 posts in exchange to draw out and illustrate the falsehoods. And your point underscores why being familiar with basic logic concepts, and fallacies, is important - as the various 'bots, particularly the Israel First Hasbarfa, are taught to use them as part of their schtick. I'm sorry but that does not compute. Women? Logic? Not gonna' go there. Not prudent. ;-) Another sage comment. One always always has to be on the look-out for disinfo in our polluted information environment. It is slid in through so many different angles and forms that you really do have to be conversant in it to stay unbugged.

Yeah, I know what our experience has been with the female operating system. 8=> There is logic in the female OS, it is functionally required! The logic becomes ill based on self-centered values and always having the power of the queen at hand to salvage bad choices. The primary delusion programmed into the feminine mind, is that lip-service allegiance to the herd (parroting now made easier by the PC lexicon spoken by Oprah and all the other bloviators pandering to the superficial mind) means that they are more cooperative by nature and more on the side of One-ness than those with more explicit individuation! Horse-hockey! Femmes can be low profile, with their life mostly inner, feeding upon the ego's attachment to her creations close at hand. Meanwhile, their iceberg egos, 90% hidden below the surface, continue unchallenged, the patterns formed in early childhood through friction with the mother-ship, unchallenged by the world outside. (My Mother, My Self, for example, revealed sex differences in learning strategies but that is another thesis) Without corrective feedback (and pity the man who thinks he he is helping by manning up and braving the fury to deliver it!) the ego thorns are slow to be ground down by experience and the ego is slower to expand beyond the small world she lives within. In short, the way you make a unified team is with individuals who know themselves well, know what commitment means (!) and know what they are really committing to when they agree to cooperate under a plan. Anything less than this is but a mindless herd of sheeple acting unconsiously and without the influence of time-honed instinct at work in herd species, the mob destroys the individual, regressing to the mean (in both senses of the word!)
