James C. Fox Plane View of Oil Spill June 10, 2010 — James C Fox , shot this video with a native of the area in a private airplane on day 50 of the BP oil spill. Fox says" There are major air restrictions over the spill so we couldn't get as close as we would have liked." Keep in mind that what you're about to see is oil marching into the sensitive marsh lands and there's little to NO clean up crew!!! There's more to come. I think bio-remediation (hydrocarbon eating microbes is the way to go but I'm not a scientist. Meeting with one and filming an experiment to see if it's viable). Hello abraxas, Did you watch the video of James C. Fox above? Notice how there are NO clean up crews along the beaches. None. Only a few token clean up crews for show. They're not cleaning it up. Why not? They don't care and it doesn't pay enough. Pesky aeroplanes will be able to video document this lack of clean-up. Can't have that.

According to regulatory filings, RawStory.com has found that Goldman Sachs sold 4,680,822 shares of BP in the first quarter of 2010. Goldman's sales were the largest of any firm during that time. Goldman would have pocketed slightly more than $266 million if their holdings were sold at the average price of BP's stock during the quarter. If Goldman had sold these shares today, their investment would have lost 36 percent its value, or $96 million. The share sales represented 44 percent of Goldman's holdings -- meaning that Goldman's remaining holdings have still lost tens of millions in value. The sale and its size itself isn't unusual for a large asset management firm. Wall Street brokerages routinely buy and sell huge blocks of shares for themselves and their clients. In light of a recent SEC lawsuit arguing that Goldman kept information about a product they sold from their clients, however, the stock sale may raise fresh concern among Goldman's critics. Goldman is also a frequent target of liberals and journalists, including Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi, who famously dubbed the firm a "vampire squid. Two calls placed to Goldman Sachs' media office in New York Wednesday morning after US markets opened were not immediately returned, though Raw Story decided to publish the story quickly after the calls since the stock sale had been already noted online. A list of major institutions' sales of BP stock are available at the market research website Morningstar. It's certainly unknown as to why the firms sold their holdings. In its analysis of the company in mid-March, Morningstar, the market research site, gave the company an average rating of three out of a possible five stars. "BP's valuation carries more uncertainty than ExxonMobil's or Shell's because the firm is less integrated, with more of its earnings coming from the [exploration and production] business than from potentially offsetting refining operations," the site's analyst wrote. "Like its peers, a sustained drop in oil and gas prices can hurt upstream earnings. Lower crude-oil feedstock costs could help refining margins, but refined product pricing lags could quickly swing refining profits to losses. BP's global business faces potential disruptions caused by political risks, particularly with its heavy exposure to Russia. Disruptions caused by environmental and operational constraints could further limit earnings potential." The transnational oil company, like other energy giants, was hit with lower oil and gas prices in the past year after the price of oil surged in 2008. "BP's fourth quarter marked another quarter of year-over-year production gains, with a 3% increase thanks to new field startups," Morningstar's analyst wrote in another note, after BP turned in better than expected fourth quarter results in February. "BP reported fourth-quarter replacement cost profit of $3.4 billion, up 33% from year-ago earnings of $2.6 billion, as upstream earnings growth was more than enough to offset downstream weakness. For the full year, BP's earnings of $14 billion were 45% below year-ago earnings of $26 billion, in part because of lower oil prices earlier in the year. We're encouraged by BP's sequential earnings gains as new projects and cost-cutting efforts drive upstream results." The SEC filed a civil lawsuit against Goldman Sachs and one of its vice presidents in April, asserting that the firm had committed fraud by misrepresenting a mortgage-investment product inherently designed to fail. The company helped a hedge fund trader create a mortgage investment that gained value as mortgage borrowers defaulted en masse. In response, Goldman said the SEC's charges were “completely unfounded in law and fact” and averred that it would “vigorously contest them and defend the firm and its reputation.” The firm has also faced criticism over giant bonuses paid to staff amidst the US financial crisis. Goldman reduced the sizes of its staff bonuses this year to $16.9 billion, and said it would pay its chief executive $9 million, far less than the previous year. Goldman also announced it would create a $500 million program to help small businesses. A Simple & Safe system for containing all the oil from BP's leak (till the relief wells are done)
Interesting. But if, as feared, the leak is not at the well head and is at the seafloor, they couldn't cap for containment. Also, how much could that hold? It seems it would fill up pretty quick at the rate of estimated flow.

On the video claiming to show UN vehicles at an air base using Google Earth. ------- Hiya Dillo!! : ) How can you know the date? Why would all those vehicles have been lined up at any time? That's a lot of white vehicles.....

It would be used not to contain the oil, but to transfer the oil to a boat. If the leak is not at the well head it wouldn't work of course, but I'm sure some other way would. Only problem is that would cost money and cut into BP's profits. Not good for BP. It's all about BP's bottom line.
I dont know any way to know the date, but I know Google satellite images are not live. The vehicles are very strange. I dont know how anyone can say they are UN vehicles. They look like standard white minivans to me.

There are no UN vehicles on that airport as many websites and blogs are saying. In case you haven’t heard, there has been some excitement over a Google earth image showing what people have estimated to be around 4,000 white United Nations vehicles on a small airport near Green Cove Springs FL at Reynolds Airpark just off highway 16. The thing is, no one has mentioned these until recently, and in light of the oil spill, it has people all worried that the UN is here ready to take over the southern states. The vehicles are no longer there. The Google earth image was taken in 2008. I had a friend of mine who lives in Jacksonville FL drive down there today and see. He reported that the runway is empty, no vehicles at all. So at this point since the images everyone is putting on the web are two years old and the vehicles are all gone, no one will ever know if they were in fact UN vehicles, or just commercial white vans ready to be shipped overseas or elsewhere. Hey, I don’t doubt for one minute that the ruling so-called elite would love to use foreign troops on our soil to attack us. But this particular story unfortunately cannot be confirmed one way or another at this point. If someone were to come forward with video evidence of these, and having definitive proof on the video that it was taken at Reynolds Airpark then that would be a different story. Even if these were UN vehicles, it still would not be something to worry about. One thing interesting though is who owns the property. The police are telling people to stay away because Pegasus is complaining about trespassers. Pegasus is a military contractor that makes the in flight displays and other aircraft related items like GPS systems. Below are two photos from my google earth program. The left one shows the unknown white vehicles on this runway and the center one shows the grid with the date the photo was taken. Right of that is a recent one from the weather channel website. (see the link for the pictures) One thing I do know about all this… People like Alex Jones will repeat saying over and over that the UN has 4,000 vehicles ready to take to the streets and take us all to the camps. That will keep people scared and tuning in to his network to see if their leader has come up with a solution.

Thanks, farmfriend. We need to do two things: 1) Use our noodles, and 2) Keep our noodles. We have to carefully turn over every story that we hear and conduct frequent reality checks because there will be a lot of disinfo coming down from all sides. I have strong feeling that this spill is much greater and the impact more dire than what we have been led to believe. The 20 - 25,000 barrel approximation that lies roughly in the middle of the estimates we're getting on the leak are in the neighborhood of one million barrels a day. There's a lot of stuff that comes with that like benzene, methylene chloride and hydrogen sulfide. We have had no official word that I am aware of on how those emission may be affecting areas on land and sea, but we do have a lot of unconfirmed reports that the clean up workers are getting sick. British Petroleum is not exactly being open with this or any other kind of information. If folks are panicking the fault here, once again, lies with that corporation.

I've seen some satellite images lacking current buildings that have existed for years. I can get a daytime satellite view of my house at night. Some Google satellite images are very old, some are more recent, but they are not live.
