When will people learn, the second that you step into a courtroom, you are now at the full discretion of the judge

IMVHO, when you cause an officer to make a court appearance, thereby taking him off patrol - not to mention the work associated with docketing the case - you already cost the system more than the fine. I know it isn't feasible for most people to take the time to do this, but if enough do, they system will grind to a crawl. I suggest people use all their appeals and in the end be prepared to be found guilty, but again, it's about over loading the system, being found innocent is secondary.

i am very surprised at your defeatist and slavish attitude here. i am not talking theory. i kick their @$$ regulary. i have won in superior court of appeals in so. cal. , and many many other victories. i didnt spend a f...king dime. i didnt miss work. they are evil thieving pigs and i see it as a moral imperative to resist them. after i win, i brag about it and post the docs online. you CAN win, but if you choose not to, and submit instead, well. to each their own.

thanks buddy. EIGHT TIMES to be precise, and that's just in traffic court. i have won in civil court many times too. the highlight being when i sued warren buffets GEICO, without a lawyer, and kicked their @$$ Too! orange county, CA. I have many more stories. one must desire it. i actually do not like court. but injustice bothers me more, so i feel driven to do it. it is a moral belief for me, literally.

I did the same w/my son three times. Thank god he has since grown up some and is now a better driver. We fought them all, and the very least that can happen - and it happened each time - is they offer a deal before trial of a reduced fine and zero points. I'm no fence straddler, but I can also understand what Eric Stratton is saying. The bottom line is we all need to find out where and how we choose to fight the battle.

true, everyone picks their own battles. but a little research is the key. preemptive, procedural, etc. we have presumption of innocence and america damn well better use it. to cry that 'we cant win' is B.S. and that mentality pisses me off. stand up and fight.

Not funny. Crippled white people get tazered and these young healthy black girls get much more restrained treatment. Yeah, the punch in the face was a little out of line, but if she hit him he has the right to hit back. I have more respect for this cop than the ones who just whip out their tazer and fire though.

chronology. 2001: got stopped at a drivers license 'checkpoint', was waived through the intersection by a uniformed cop. his partner then came behind me and ticketed me for running the light that the first cop had directed me to go through. outrageous criminal affront. i lost in court, because i did not know how to properly fight. i vowed that that will never happen again. that is the incident that started this. we have an amoral satanic government. "The system" is us in terms of cost. What, you think that the money to run "the system" doesn't come from the taxpayers?

I think you missed my point, or I failed to explain it fully.

The more police officers we take off the street (whose main function now is issuing tickets) the less revenue local government generates. That, in turn, impacts the hiring & maintaining of cops. I could google hundreds of articles that bolster my point. As more and more cops get their pink slips think of this Method as Alinsky_ish.

the courts are all about "deals," which feeds in exactly to what I'm talking about.

So don't deal. The system functions on our compliance. I suggest stop being compliant and get the cops off the street & let the clerks drown in their paperwork. That, to me, is a win.

you say 'BFD' After saying one can't win!? it is NOT easy, they are arrogant and make it hard as they can, and lie to defenants. i spent less time than the cost of 3 yrs jacked up insurance premiums which a conviction would get you. and unlike JTs example, i dont do plea or deals. no. the geico thing was easy. their client was convicted of dui yet they still tried not to pay me. i had originally asked for 1200. when they refused i got the max in small claims at the time was 5k. b/c i tagged on punative, since they were such pricks. documented all prior attempts with certified mail. judge shouted at them that theyre lucky i chose that venue & slammed gavel, 5000 for 5 minutes. LOL.

That's not what I call a win.

I don't think you will get a knock out blow against them by yourself. But it is a win.

However, multiply that times the number of people that claim to be like-minded and the system has no choice but to crash BECAUSE " Their employees think tha they're all something special and can throw you into endless loops in the 7th ring of hell if they want to. They're overpaid, undereducated, most stupid, and simply shitty to have to deal with. They can't get fired, don't know the first damn thing about customer service, etc. "

IMO their bullshit cuts both ways. It can either help them, or it can hang them. I say Bruce Lee was right. "Be the water". And that will kick their asses, just like he did in a literal sense.

I can't tell you how many people have posted either here or at PalinPost how simple it is to avoid paying taxes yet when I ask how I have never gotten an answer besides "just don't own anything."

Why admit to something "illegal" on an open forum, just to try and show ones bona fides? It's not wise.

You can own a lot. But the lifestyle is not for everyone.

Besides, while you guys enjoy yourselves down here in the world of traffic infractions

If the piggies are in the pen arguing traffic violations, they aren't on the street abusing this kid in the vid (and worse). Cost the system time, money & manpower wherever and whenever you can and they'll be less of them to get in your hair.

Very true, but it shouldn't help them ever.

It shouldn't. Like JT said, it's about compliance. Don't comply, resist, and it won't help them, it will hang them. There is no need to blow the trumpet every time people do something that will help to fuck them up. It's not a ego-feeding attention whoring "i'm a leader" crap like Alex Jones and others do. People just need to do it. It's rather fun and satisfying.

If you can find any of Haydukes books, read them if you have more specific targets in mind. they will give you some good and funny ideas. Scribd has them, I think.

ha. OK, this thread started about cops & infractions, you said no one can win, that its rigged. then you changed it to, anyone can win. an appellate court in one of the biggest counties in CA, Where i got the judgement of a superior court judge overturned by a panel of appealate judges, is not childs play. if and when you pull such a feat, you wouldn't be so defeatist. traffic infractions are no longer petty, they're increasingly expensive and burdensome to working people, who dont know how to fight effectively. so i think it is a very worthy cause. i'm sorry if someone sued you civilly though. i did not start out discussing that, though i do have experience in that too.

traffic bullshit is very easy

you do realize, don't you, that a state's SUPERIOR COURT OF APPEALS is a higher court than the mere superior court where the case you referred to will be heard? If you lost, for example, and tried to appeal your ruling, then you could attempt a shot in the appelate court. So, just pay attention to deadlines, file everything properly, and launch your best defenses. the local law library can help you with procedures and language. Do not misunderstand where i argued and won, because it is beyond mere superior court where civil courts are heard. i am a layman so like i said, it CAN be done.
