Sniff, sniff.......what a tear jerker.

Here's another one........

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ... We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of." Edward Bernays, Father of Public Relations

My all time favorite song.

It's hard to pick an all time favorite, but here's one of my top ten.....

But then of course there is the Rocker's National Anthem: "Johnny B. Goode".

I am not now, nor have I ever been, a fan of "Tear Jerkers" whether, Rock, Pop, or Country.

More appropriate for our current scene might be: Molly Hatchett - "Flirtin' With Disaster".

However, for a witty and inventive lighter, although intellectually stimulating, rock would be Al Stewart's "Year of The Cat".

The Greatest Song Ever

"With respect to the words general welfare, I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."
James Madison, Letter to James Robertson, April 20, 1831

Hey Lod

The Spew cam is, at a minimum, 3 or 4 times worse than when it kicked on. It's become a oil volcano.
