DEATH~ WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT. A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to Leave the examination room and said, 'Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side.' Very quietly, the doctor said, 'I don't know.' 'You don't know? You, a Christian man, Do not know what is on the other side?' The doctor was holding the handle of the door. On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, 'Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, And when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, But I do know one thing... I know my Master is there and that is enough.'

Where is the sting of death when you know you are going to a better place?
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. I swear these military people are worse than useless. Just look around at the condition of the country and tell me if they have fulfilled their oaths to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic. I don't pretend to know that. But I sure do hope that there is a place in heaven--or maybe one God has created for them--for our pets. And that we can see them and play with them. To say that that would bring me great joy would be an understatement.

Three women die together in an accident and go to Heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, 'We only have one rule here in heaven: Don't step on the ducks!' You may think you don't "require a master" and God doesn't make you a slave. But the fact is that you will serve somebody. And, believe it or not, one of these days your knee will bow just like everyone else's and acknowledge that Christ is king.
