That sums up nicely the pro-illegal argument - mislabel it as racism against hispanics. It is nothing more than a variation of the "if your opposed to Israeli Human Rights abuses and Genocide yer' an anti-semite". In neither case is it true. The opposition is not to Americans of Spanish descent but opposition to foreign invaders from a foreign culture illegally crossing our border, acting like they own the place, and bringing their crime and cultural degradation with them. And to some degree it is not even the illegals individually as some of them are quite nice and decent, BUT they are a foreign culture and are here in violation of our laws, our sovereignity, many belonging to gangs or having a criminal record/inclination, speaking a foreign language, and disturbing the peace. We cannot, as a culture, continue to absorb this flow without it disrupting our society. It is in fact already disrupting our society. So, all the defenders of this flood can do is shout RACIST in a crowed theater.

=============================== Exactly. Let me ask you this? Do illegal aliens have RIGHTS being here illegally in the first place, and most importantly WHAT authority gives them those rights?

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

I told everyone there is a tipping point in which everything breaks and everyone piles on. This is it. People think life is linear. It's not.
St. Ausgustine on the State: "It was a criminal band that achieved legitimacy not by renouncing aggression, but rather by attaining impunity."
They, in my opinion, have the same rights as any other criminal, the right to a fair hearing followed by immediate deportation, or incarceration if a criminal - followed by deportation. The Constitution is a limitation on the government and exceptions for any class of individual diminishes the liberty of all and grants power to government it should not have. So, while it causes me to grit my teeth, if they are caught within our borders, due process and everything else applies. We can make no exception except at risk to our own liberty.

====================================== I agree, however it is a catch-22, and also the reason why DEPORTATION is continually viewed as not being a political option. Ike Eisenhower was our last president to do something about it.

(AP) Arizona's sweeping new immigration law doesn't even take effect until next month, but lawmakers in nearly 20 other states are already clamoring to follow in its footsteps. That's an impressive start. states also are watching legal challenges to the new law, and whether boycotts over it will harm Arizona's economy. If that happens, boycott Mexico and its products.

Presidents don't have that power legitimately and "Acting" pResidents who don't qualify Constitutionally per the natural born citizen requirement are actually completely powerless authoritywise.

Not happening. Just a thought but lots of places use voluntary pin numbers to password their members. Maybe that's a solution instead of "Real ID" that could eliminate the profiling gripes and get more states on board with AZ? No racially anonymous pin number that an officer can have you punch in if stopped to show him valid citizenship status -- uh-oh.
