This makes sense, that they lied to the wrong family. Does the military think that the family that fostered the environment that produced Pat Tillman would just shut up and go away? This movie will contribute to dragging out the autopsy fact that Pat Tillman was shot by 3 5.56mm rounds in the forehead at point blank range. Know your enemy...
The Pentagon murdered him so they could bury him as a pro-war hero instead of letting him come home and work with Chomsky as an antiwar veteran. This may have something to do with the way they shuffled MacChrystal out so quickly. He would have been the point man to arrange Tiller's assassination. Will he now join the other warmongering neocons of the Bush years overseas and beyond the reach of our courts in lucrative positions working for energy companies or mercenary outfits? It's like the "coincidence" that the Gores suddenly put all their property into a trust that just so happened to shield them against a lawsuit from a masseuse that Al "Crazed Sex Poodle" Gore tried to rape.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.
It hits the theaters in August. Hopefully the theaters in my part of the country will be playing it, but there is no guarantee being that I am in the pro-war Baptist Belt.

Indeed it does. I posted it here because when I went to Christine's link, the trailer never loaded here and I became tired, and nearly hypnotized watching that spinning green thingie.
In a right world, this film would be required viewing by all junior high and older students. Let those mush-heads learn some real-life history of the .gov and a little of what they are oh so capable of doing.

It's valid enough. She could at least give our own country as much enthusiasm. She is so over-the-top pro-Israel I have concerns whether she would put our interests over theirs. A real president is supposed to be a little more cold-blooded in calculating the country's best interests. This is not to say that if America abandoned Israel or if Iran nuked Israel and forced the survivors to flee that the Mideast would then turn to sweetness and light. It can be argued that Israel is something of a lightning rod for radical Islam. Of course, this does ring close to the discredited fight-the-terr'ists-over-there-so-we-won't-end-up-fighting-them-on-the-Kansas-border so there is a very real limit to this line of thinking. Still, the Muslims are so crazed over Israel that it does provide a popular primary target for the Islamist hordes.
The Middle East has NEVER been pretty. It wasn't pretty before WWII (which brought us the New New World Order; The United Nations and then Israel). Really, the modern Israel state is as much Roosevelt's and Truman's creation as anybody else that's been attributed with credit...
I'd credit Herzl and Balfour more than any others. I've never yet parsed out exactly the inner politics at the U.N. which caused them to legitimize Israel; I suspect it turned in part on sympathy for the Holocaust and in part a desire of Europe to be rid of the refugee Jews in the resettlement camps. Europe always had some hostility for them, something with a history of centuries.

My thoughts exactly I'll be curious to see if the spin puts all the blame on Bush and the Republicans. This could be a ploy to help the RATS survive the Nov elections.
WWGPD? - (What Would General Pinochet Do?)
Do you even have to ask? LOL. No, it piles on the antiwar sentiment around a popular antiwar "martyr", one that can be mass-marketed to revive the moribund antiwar movement. Triple the impact if Chomsky and Hitchens and some other prominent antiwar Lefties start insinuating publicly that the Pentagon murdered him to shut him up. A martyr can be a very powerful political tool and certainly the Lefties know that. And nothing saves Obummer from their wrath, he's betrayed them by enlarging the Af-Pak war and staying in Iraq. He is a bigger warmonger than Bush, after having campaigned as an antiwar.
