Speaking of $: It is expected that many illegal immigrants who are currently working "off the books" and paying no direct taxes will begin to work "on the books" after receiving amnesty That's beyond stupid. As if their "off the books" employers wouldn't look for a new crop of illegals to replace them so they could keep skirting their own taxes. Their employers could hire legal Americans right now if they weren't trying to avoid paying taxes on their workers. And as if "on the books" jobs for all of those aliens would miraculously materialize with "Amnesty" when there aren't enough now for legal citizens as it is, whether illegals are in the area as consumers or not. If that's the case, maybe jobs are being purposely extincted in this country to hold the livelioods of Americans hostage on that issue.
