The U.S. Economy Is A Dead Horse And The American People Are Starting To Get Really Pissed Off And Frustrated

The economic frustration of the American people is reaching a fever pitch. Millions of Americans can't seem to get a good job no matter what they do. Millions of others are working as hard as they can but find that they keep coming up short at the end of the month. Record numbers of Americans are still going bankrupt. Record numbers of Americans are still losing their homes. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy is a dead horse at this point. It just doesn't have any more to give. At this point the U.S. economy is like an aging rock star that requires larger and larger doses of drugs each night just to be able to perform. The U.S. economy is addicted to "drugs" such as debt and government stimulus, and years ago those things really supercharged the U.S. economic system, but at this point they aren't provoking much of a response at all. In fact, the things that once "stimulated" the economy are now slowly killing it. But the vast majority of the American people do not understand this. All they know is that the economy is broken and they want someone to "fix" it.

For most Americans, all we have ever known is tremendous prosperity. All our lives we have been taught that America is the richest and most prosperous nation on the planet, and that while there will always be times of "recession", things will always bounce back and be better than ever before.

But this time things aren't bouncing back.

And Americans are starting to become extremely frustrated.

A couple of quotes that appeared in a recent article in The New York Daily News really embodied the growing frustration that so many are feeling at this point....

"My husband and I are fortunate to be able to move in with my 81-year-old mother-in-law. But how sad is that? I apply for jobs and nothing happens," writes Gayle Hanson. "Who wants to hire a 59-year-old woman? My answer is nobody. [I] have years of experience, excellent references. And nothing to show for it."

"I am soon to be 57 and considered too old, too expensive, etc. I can't get an employer to hire me at any salary," writes Mike Stiller. "I am BOILING MAD."

But Gayle Hanson and Mike Stiller are far from alone.

Millions upon millions of Americans are "boiling mad" about the economy at this point.

The truth is that the United States has lost 10.5 million jobs since 2007. Many of those jobs have been shipped off to countries like China and India where labor is much cheaper and they are never coming back.

There just are not enough jobs for everyone in America at this point. The number of "chronically unemployed" has been rising at a frightening pace. In fact, the average duration of unemployment in the United States has risen to an all-time high.

If you have never been unemployed and unable to find a job, then you just don't know how soul crushing it can be. This is especially true when you have a family to support. (1 image)

Americans cannot maintain our standard of living and compete with THIRD world near slave labor that exists by the BILLIONS.

Slap a tariff on everything imported, watch American capital flee the world human cesspools.

That includes OIL, then watch the drilling begin.

Instead Americans defend this country taking in millions of illegal aliens for cheap labor.

Voters do their patriotic duty and return the same people to office every year.

Thank You Cyni for real common sense answers to what the people are faced with in the U.S. The ones clamouring about all the jobs and those on welfare and unemployment must have been born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Like the politicans, they haven't a clue.

The reasons there are hardly any tariffs is because the corporations have bribed the pols and that is the same reason we are overrun with all the illegals. They allowed them to come to apease the corporations need for cheap labor. Now that the jobs have been exported overseas for even cheaper labor, we are now buedened with about 20 million illegals that will take what they need and want and resort to cutting throats and shootings. Crime will be going going through the roof and the angry masses will remove those silver spoons.

Those that are living high on the hog, the wealthier Americans probably haven't realized, the will be the targets of the masses when the final bubble bursts. I don't pity the rich because they have made things the way they are. If I had money and a great big house, I would seriously be looking for a little shack to save my hide when the time comes and that could be any day now.

Lacumo...

Too many people here were not around when labor was shot and killed for wanting a decent wage for their labor. They have what they have BECAUSE labor paid the price in sweat and blood years ago.

Amen! A lot of those who think people are inherently lazy are the ones who believe in slave wages and downright slavery. The rich can have all the money they want as far as I'm concerned because most of it is blood money anyway. Did you ever notice how the rich give money away when nearing their destiny with the Grim Reaper? Apparently they believe God will forgive their transgressions against their fellow man. Some of them even go so far as to want their name plastered on a ice rink, swimming pool, ball field, etc hoping the sheeple will remember them for their gift of giving instead of the greedy tyrants they really were.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. America became great and prosperous when labor unions were strong, not the compromised entities they have become. All the good things in the workplace came about because of unions, not in spite of them. Many of them caved in and screwed their membership as long as the union heirarchy was financially well paid (bribed). Some of those union big wigs are as bad as the bought and paid for politicans.

Those that don't understand or don't want to understand that their labor is all that they have to earn a living, are either brain dead or the businessmen that think exploiting workers is not only profitable, but morally ok. I see them as greedy trash. Why God lets them prosper when they treat their workers the way they do is a mystery to me.

The best thing about being a worker, particularly today, means we don't have that much to lose. Ya can't lose much when you never had much even if you lose it all.

Lech Walesa ...

Too many people have forgotten that it was a labor leader that kicked in the door to European Communism. It was he that started communism on its downward spiral.

Walesa put his own life on the line from day one, and from there it was the beginning of the end for communism in Western Europe. It was NOT some business man, not a man of wealth that started the fall, it was a simple shop electrician.

He became Premier for a short time, retired and left political life, something that the elite never do, they have a death grip on power and never let go. IE Kennedy and Byrd.

You are right about Lech Walesa. Many have forgotten and many were angry with his success.

.Those in favor of one world government were set back for about 4 decades in establishing dominance over western Europe and the rest of the world because he woke the people up and led the labor movement against tyranny in the workplace. Those one world order advocates love some form of socialism,Nazism, or communism. It makes it easier to control or eliminate the masses. Funny to the point of being hilairous, how the jews lay so much blame on Hitler and what they claim happened to them in Nazi Germany, and they are doing the very same thing to the neighboring peoples in the Middle East.
