The authors of "The Black Book of Communism" condemned it as a criminal ideology. "Crimes against humanity are the product of an ideology that reduces people to a particular condition, be it biological, racial, socio-historical." Add "sexual orientation" to that list. Social Darwinism (communism), according to the authors, leads to the animalization of human beings (verified by Communist Textbook of Psychopolitics). It strips them of their souls and reduces them to worthless slabs of meat. Furthermore, it breaks down the crucial morally induced barriers of restraint by which people relate to each other in a civilized society. Morality has been replaced by a new tolerance that demands that we accept as normal, gross narcissism, self-indulgence, all forms of sexual perversion and promiscuity. Progressivism has made cruelty the new norm. The author's likewise condemned social Darwinism's immorality for leading to the "manipulation of language--the decoupling of words from the reality they were supposed to represent." Social Darwinism was also condemned for making traditional society the "political enemy, and as such, the object of terror and destruction." "Politics," observed the authors, "was reduced to a civil war in which two opposing forces were in conflict and the former had to exterminate the latter by any means necessary…The enemy was anyone opposed to communism." In the conclusion to "The Black Book of Communism," Stephane Courtois wondered about the sort of people who are drawn to social Darwinism. He asked, "How can we possibly understand the people in this terrifying system? Did they have specific psychological features? Every totalitarian regime seems to find a segment of the population that has a special calling for such behavior, and it actively seeks them out and promotes them within its ranks. Stalin's…case is representative…he was one of the greatest criminals in a century in which great criminals have been all too easy to find…Boris Suvarin…labeled Stalin the century's Caligula." Bear in mind that America's criminally-minded Left has always revered Stalin. They've gone to great lengths to sanitize him. Likewise they've been laboring long and hard to Stalinize America. Consider that George Orwell's "newspeak" (political correctness) is now a grotesque reality throughout America's universities, lower schools, all levels of our government, legal system, and so forth. Likewise Stalin's 'identity politics" (race, gender, sexual preferences, etc), speech codes, hate crime laws, sensitivity training, and the 'new tolerance' have become perverted realities. In "America's Thirty Years War," Balint Vazsonyi described the morally corrupt, totally incompetent "upside-down" society created by communists and their ilk. He portrayed them as being controlled by "persons of low intellectual standing who find uncommon pleasure in exercising authority over their betters." He subdivided them as, "those who feel society owes them and those…inebriated by a sense of mission" (GLSEN, ACLU, and PFAW for example). In a right-side up society exemplified by morally principled people in pursuit of worthy ideals and excellence, the aforementioned people would occupy the lower rungs and outer fringes of society. They would be considered to be the losers, the incompetents, cowards, and misfits. But the criminal ideology that serves as the blueprint for the upside-down society elevates them to unearned positions of authority, influence, and control. They become congressmen (Pelosi, Franks, Kerry), presidents (Carter and Clinton), attorney generals (Reno), governors (Blanco), professors (Ward Churchill), justices (Ginsberg), editorialists (Maureen Dowd), film producers (Michael Moore), film stars (Jane Fonda), and mayors (Nagin). "The new leaders," continued Vazsonyi, "surrounded themselves with multiple-layers of loyal-to-the-party non-achievers, recruited from the bottom of every profession. Upward mobility for the talented, for the real achievers, was first impeded, then stifled altogether. The new ruling class inhibited everyone else from rising." The spread of Liberalism in America is the unfolding story of a nation drifting further and further away from the traditional Christian-Judeo worldview upon which she was both founded and morally anchored. And the further afield she drifts, the more her people succumb to the immoral lures held out to them by charlatans like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, and the like. Liberalism is not a concept as such. In reality it is nothing more than the verbal and written manifestations of the evil that exists in the hearts and minds of the socio-pathological narcissists and their thuggish retinues who are drawn to social Darwinism like dung beetles to piles of road apples. Victor Frankl astutely observed that, "There are two races of man in this world…the 'race' of the decent man and the 'race' of the indecent man." Never more clearly have we been able to see these two 'races' than now. In commenting on the mind-numbing destruction wrought in New Orleans first by Katrina and then by incompetent moral imbeciles, Thomas Sowell said, "The physical devastation caused by Katrina has painfully revealed the moral devastation of our times." When I was a kid, plastic bags did not yet exist. This meant that at the end of our final meal for the day, we would scrape together the day's food scraps, take them outside and scrape them into the small garbage can. Everyone back then used garbage cans for that purpose. From the outside, the can looked relatively intact and unblemished. But as soon as the lid was raised a seething world of stinking decay, writhing maggots, and buzzing blowflies was revealed. New Orleans, which prided itself on being progressive and tolerant, was like that garbage can. Externally she appeared normal and unblemished, but when Katrina ripped the lid off…so to speak…. a sordid, brutally violent underworld--the product of years and years and layer upon layer of immorality was exposed in all of its' grotesque ugliness to shocked and horrified Americans.
