I DGAS what a nutless, gutless, spinelesss, chickenshit, non/un- American/possible draft dodger/canuckistani thinks about my country. Geez - Then why not just bozo him once and for all instead of turning the thread into a crapfest?

Some of us DO care about those whose opinions you don't respect.

If you a poster doesn't have the nuts and guts to address those of whom he/she/it posts about, it is generally agreed that those sniping posters are exactly how I described the bird. He's in the same category as crapweasel and RLKK.

few people give much attention to the label of racist anymore, because it became a sinister joke. That's right; the new definition of "racist" is: he/she who speaks uncomfortable truths, even in matters completely unrelated to race.

It's called "projection."

Seriously Yook - you've been crossing the line with the constant inane name-calling - you're totally out of control. Can't you merely make your point with those with whom you disagree, or toss a simple barb here and there? Why must you use the nuke-option and make everything personal?

What's worse is that you've already driven excellent posters away - and diligently working on driving others away - including lurkers. That makes you a net-negative to this forum.

LP is like any other family or community. Here's a NEWSFLASH: We're all not going to agree. Most of us are here to be informed, contribute, opine, relieve frustrations, have a few laughs, challenge and be challenged, and to share the camaraderie. You're here to ridicule and pummel. And to "win" the argument. Sometimes there is no "argument" to win.

DIAL. IT. WAY. DOWN. That's the consensus here.

There is posting etiquette that certain posters ignore. Wait a minute; YOU of ALL people are talking about "posting etiquette?" Where'd you learn yours? At howlin.com?

Now I know you're detached from reality.

I'll call them on it everytime.

For sh*ts & giggles just what exactly is this etiquette others are breaking, and you aren't?

If you or they don't like it, here's the solution: Stop posting like nutless cowards.

No, I don't like your non-stop screeching like a roided-out banchee, and 90% of the posters at LP don't like it at all and are sick of it. You have crossed the line...ironically of forum "posting etiquette." The day you run your own forum, you can arbitrarily run posters out of town with your own "final solutions." Your undisciplined distemper is making a mockery of intellectual and civil discourse here and getting the better of you.

If your goal is hoping that 90% of the posters bozo you, then you're real close to that reality.

What we're seeing here, class, is Top Kill in action. Liberator is a giant hole spewing shit uncontrollably, yet he is quickly brought under control by an even bigger shit-spewer, Yukon, relentlessly pumping load after load down Lib's hole. (Not to be confused with what he does to Mad Dog...that's another whole different pathology on display).

Thank God and Christine that we don't have to put up with shit like that here. I've seen this kind of thing before on AOL message boards. Some poor, neglected troll isn't getting enough attention so he breaks out one of his alternate screen names and the back and forth BS between the two "handles" begins, disrupting every thread in the folder. Honestly, when Liberator was here while LP was down, I got the impression that he and Yukon were one and the same. Yukon's single purpose at LP is to disrupt. It's all he does.

It would be interesting to know the number of people yuklown has driven away from LP, lurkers and posters. It is truly amazing what an unabashed supporter of Israel is allowed to get away with. How fast do you think Fred Mertz or Leopold Stotch or any other non-Jew worshiping poster last if he posted as yuklown does? Not very long.

Honestly, when Liberator was here while LP was down, I got the impression that he and Yukon were one and the same.

I never had that impression, but I've noticed that the views he spouts on LP are completely the opposite of what they were here. There he is anti-war, anti-Israel and somewhat isolationist in his foreign policy views. Here he was a die hard Israeli-firster, pro-interventionist foreign policy and pro-war. He wanted to start his own worldwide jihad and kill every Muslim breathing and if you didn't agree then you were a Muslim lover.

It's like they aren't even the same person.

I'd say that much like RimJob and his merry band of ignoramuses and GOP pencil pushers, Goldi has either directly or indirectly driven people from her site to make whatever Yukon "sends away" insignificant.

She definitely drove me away with her no Ron Paul articles bullshit and her banning people for posting pro-Ron Paul articles while allowing people to post anti-Ron Paul articles to their hearts content. She's a foul beast.

Not me. Since neither side will accept the "proof" of the other side, it turns into a thousand posts of name calling. Not that I have any right to say anything about that as I have been known to do it myself from time to time.

Yeah, she's real good at that. Another thing she does is ban people without telling them they are banned, or threatening to ban people publicly while actually banning them, making it look like the poster ran away with his/her tail between their legs. She's very dishonest in how she runs the site.

It's my suspicion, but pure speculation, that it was over non-site sponsored comments made about Palin.

Don't you know that St. Sarah is the savior? Once she wins the presidency, her and the Republican Party are going to make things right again!!!! Why can't you see that? Why do you hate America Eric? LOL!

Not any more. The whole Saint Sarah thing is over now at LP, months back.

Apparently, somewhere in the midst of endorsing Rand Paul and Juan McStain, Sarah burned through all the good will she had there with her biggest fans.

I'd say the attitude there now is that they'll support her if she gets the 2012 nomination but she isn't their first pick. Maybe not their second pick either. I don't get this kind of political romance exactly, this insane puppy love for a new face then coolness (or even hatred) after a few months, when the honeymoon is over. I'm not as dramatic about these things as partisans are.

Maybe with the exception of yuklown, Gatlin, Grand Isle, Goldi-Lox and Mad Dog eh? Truth be told, it won't matter who is running. They will vote Republican no matter what. For that matter, so will the majority of the rest of LP. They talk a good game right up until election time. Then it's the old, "I'm not voting for the Republican, I'm voting against the Democrat" routine. Also, it won't be long now until Goldi once again starts her histrionic rants against those who refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. I seen it in 2004, 2006 and 2008 and have no reason to believe it wont happen again this year. Soon after she will start the banning of those who are able to logically articulate why voting for the lesser of two evils is a losing proposition.

Speaking of Rand Paul, I can't imagine why supporting him would put the St. Sarah crowd off. He's pretty much embraced the whole Israel-first thing, not to mention being an outspoken supporter of an interventionist foreign policy. That is fully one half of the neocon plank. I guess their hatred of his Dad has bled off into hatred of him.

Yeah, but they were wild about Palin for a while. Now, indifferent is about as good as she gets at LP.

For a while, she couldn't get a manicure without getting rave reviews there. Those days are gone.

People tend to project into a candidate their favorite agendas. Then, when the candidate reveals they have individual political priorities of their own, all of a sudden their former fanbois behave like jilted lovers. That is what I find interesting about it. It's so predictable.

It's like junior high romances, with all the I-love-you-madly which quickly turns into I-hate-your-stinking-guts.

Ah, romantic expectations...
