This country experienced the same things during alcohol prohibition as the Mexican people are experiencing now. We were smart enough to put a stop to it by repealing the 18th amendment. Hopefully the Mexican people will smarten up as well. There is an easy fix.

Apparently no text came with this. Just a collection of pics from Gilchrist's site. Half way down the page there's a closeup of a license plate. Can anyone read what Mexican state it says? So what happened here? Looks like a good place for an ambush. I'll guess that it was a convoy hauling dope. The rival gang was tipped off on the route they'd take and the approx time they'd get there. The X"s on the car's windows are for identifying each other in the dark. What's that litter on the road behind the blue Jeep?

Doesn't that poster have a few beheaded people on it? It's a real shame too, because there are many historic sites I would love to see in Mexico.

I believe, in the parlance, that is referred to as "native handicrafts" in the tourist brochures. There are a lot of archaeologic sites I wouldn't mind seeing, but at this point Tiahuanaco looks much more appealing.

Stop this insane WOD. Yeah. They should sell crack at walmart. It would be really cheap then. And such a better society. More than likely. The so-called "War on Drug" has not stopped the flow of drugs - although it has made a lot of "respectable" people a lot of money. The flow of laundry money through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is in the billions. It destroys lives and funds crimes. It also, by driving drug use underground, makes it more difficult to tackle the problem of drug abuse. The knee jerk reaction of "I think drugs are bad so they should be illegal" is just that - a knee jerk unthinking reaction. And the imposition of thugish cops and confiscatory "forfeiture" laws with no recourse to recover illegally seized property is the stuff of horrors. My nephew had his truck seized when a person he knew in his apartment complex got busted for dealing - he never got his truck back, but still had to pay it off. In another case the city wanted a piece of land which the owners would not sell. So they staged a drug bust and parked an APC in their living room. No drugs were found. The so-called war on drugs has not stopped either the use or sale of drugs. However, it does provide a great way for the "well connected" to use the authorities to shut their competition down. And the CIA is not called the "Cocaine Importation Agency" for no good reason. Illegal drugs, along with other criminality, fund a lot of their black operations. The drug wars and drug gang killings, like bootleggers - such as Alphonse, Scarface, Capone, create crime they do not stop it. Legalization in an instant does away with all the drug lords, all the killings, the need for totalitarian police, hundreds of millions in prisons, and on and on. It also puts the problem where it should be - in the hands of counselors and treatment centers, along with public education about what drugs do to a person. So, tell us about the wonder of the war on drugs and how successful it has been. Drugs are now more available than they were during "The Summer of Love".

I watched REEFER MADNESS again today, and it carries a powerful message. One guy was not even tried but was instead summarily sentenced as "hopelessly insane for life", doubtless due to the effects of "marihuana"! AND, his lawyer, the prosecutor and the judge all agreed! If not for the War On Drugz this could happen 2 ewe! (it's a good thing you can't get any "marihuana", huh?) I admit that as a young musician I was lured into trying it once. Fortunately, my friends restrained me because I immediately wanted to launch a multi-state killing spree! (According to FEDGOV) it has a different effect on girls though. They have the uncontrollable urge to drop their drawers for the Mexicans and Africans who always team up (to maximize the chances of pregnancy and rectal hemorrhaging) before offering it to unsuspecting white wimmen.

He (Gordon Duff) also implies that forcibly removing Obama, a Constitution-hating, on-the-down-low, crackhead Communist, is an attack on America, Mom, and apple pie. I swear these military people are worse than useless. Just look around at the condition of the country and tell me if they have fulfilled their oaths to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic. Downtown Beirut would be safe for Obama. As far as the Mexicans are concerned, there is no prohibition to the sales of drugs. This is an internal war over who is going to get to distribute it and profit from it. It's a war over territory.
It's an international war, on both sides of the border. What make is worthwhile for them is the profit of selling ILLEGAL drugs. If they weren't illegal they'd be very little profit, no drug war, and a lot less illegal traffic across the border.
