For the record the only time I've ever voted for a Republican is in 1984 for Reagan and during the Republican primary for Ron Paul last election cycle. Except for those two times and the last election cycle when I voted for Chuck Baldwin, I have voted Libertarian. A fact which I have stated on more than one occasion on this site. So to say that I'm "just waiting for "those honest" GOP-ers to get back into office" is completely disingenuous.
I do not believe there is a political solution to our problems, however, I am not one to just throw up my hands in despair and give up. Therefore I still financially support and volunteer for my candidate of choice. I still write my Congressman and Senators and I still write letters to the editor of my local newspaper. I'm not going down without speaking my voice, even if I know that it is a waste of time. That also does not mean that I am "just waiting for "those honest" GOP-ers to get back into office."
