Last week, police in Lake Placid, New York arrested Pedro Valladares Martinez, 27, and charged him with lewd and lascivious on a 13-year-old girl. Martinez had sex with the girl on multiple occasions, and the girl is now pregnant. Police began their investigation of Martinez after Highlands County Courthouse employees reported that the girl’s family was attempting to obtain a marriage license for her and Martinez. Lake Placid police released the following statement: “Interviews with the suspect and the victim found that sex occurred more than once at the victim's residence in Lake Placid, and resulted in the victim becoming pregnant.” Martinez is currently being held in the Highland County Jail. It seems that there has been an explosion of these types of cases in recent years, and it coincides with the explosion of illegal immigration, mostly from Mexico, currently flooding this country. The most troubling and telling reason behind the growing epidemic of child molestation at the hands of Mexican illegal aliens, is the fact the age of sexual consent throughout the majority of Mexico is 12 years of age. Article 177 of the Mexican Federal District Penal Code discusses "sexual abuse" and punishment of other acts referred to as "unintentional" acts –"who without purpose of reaching copulation, performs a sexual act with a person under 12 or a person that has no capacity of understanding the meaning of the act or that for any reason cannot resist it, or that demands that such act is observed or performed, will be punished with 2 to 7 years in prison". In addition to Mexico City, the age of consent is 12 years old in the following Mexican states: -Aquascalientes -Baja California Sur -Campeche -Coahuila -Guanajuato -Guerrero -Hidalgo -Jalisco -Michoacan -Morelos -Nayarit -Oaxaca -Puebla -San Louis Potosi -Sonora -Tabasco -Tamaulipas -Yucatan -Zacatecas The age of consent is 13 years old in Nuevo Leon and 14 years old in the seven remaining Mexican states. The attitude towards having sex with little girls is carried with many Mexican men as they cross into this country. An example of this attitude can be found in Mexican national Diego Lopez-Mendez, who pled guilty in 2006 to sexually assaulting a 10 year old West Virginia girl. Through an interpreter, he told the court: “In the pueblo where I grew up girls are usually married by 13 years old….I was unaware of the nature of the offense or that it was a bad crime.” In order to bring charges of rape in most Mexican states, the law requires that the girl prove that she is a virgin, and that the charge of statutory rape be dropped if the rapist wishes to marry his victim. Of course, when discussing the issue of illegal immigration, this dirty little secret is never talked about by our politicians, nor is the impact that such an attitude towards the abuse of children could have on this nation by offering amnesty to millions of Mexican nationals. Until our politicians gain the courage to actually defend our border…Keep your children close!

And in some European countries (spain I believe) the age of consent is similar. Mexico is not unusual in this respect. In fact people in age group of 12-14 will routinely and voluntarily decide to have sex and then do so. And many of them both male and female will seek partners much older than themselves. I'm not suggesting that a majority will behave this way. but a very significant percentage will do so. Government can be too oppressive in criminalizing the activities of its people that it considers to be bad, yet are still common. The unusual thing about Mexican culture is its fixation with death. You know about the 'night of the dead' festivities on halloween. All over Mexico City the people go to graveyards on halloween and drink lots of alcohol while celebrating death. From about 1910 to 1920 the Mexicans had a civil war. They will tell you it was their 'revolution'. but it was a civil war of mexicans fighting and killing mexicans en masse. a group of soldiers from one side or the other would very routinely ride into a village and kill everyone. this is how the war was waged. I read that about 15 million people were killed. I believe that not one other nation in the entire world had a civil war like that. We had 650,000 killed in ours'. at the time (1860's) it was the most bloody war in world history. It really shook us. but few civilians were killed in our war (10% at most). I personally know Mexicans who tell me about the violence in sinaloa which is the state below sonora which is directly south of nogales or tucson. the mexicans have a culture of violence and death that is beyond what we can normally imagine. They like to have sex young, that is true. A mexican girl will start looking for a husband before age 15. by 20 they will either have children or be unhappy. but they do not have a culture of pedophilia that any significant percentage of them respects. they are a very pro-family people, extremely protective of their children. In the mexican form of spanish there are special affectionate words they use to describe male children and female children. they honor their young children tremendously. They spoil their children if at all possible. It is as if every mexican child knows that their family loves them.

A mexican girl will start looking for a husband before age 15. by 20 they will either have children or be unhappy. but they do not have a culture of pedophilia that any significant percentage of them respects. they are a very pro-family people, extremely protective of their children. It is possible to have a young age of consent in a society in which premarital sex is discouraged because the girl's family act as protectors of the girl's virginity. This is why very conservative places often have a very young age of consent. It doesn't work as well to have a young consent age once the rules against premarital sex have been relaxed because there is no protection against young girls being exploited by strangers.
