Good post, thanks. one sad aspect is that general goods in Mexico at stores are always more expensive than they are in the u.s. i know, because i am notoriously frugal, know my prices. i always resent paying more for stuff when i am there, & feel bad for residents there who for the most part, earn much less than we do. Medical care & prescriptions, though, are much cheaper there.

Since RX's are mostly legal poison, what does that tell you about Mexican government price control in relationship to their food cost? If the Mexicans are getting humped thanks to an oligarchy, let them rise up. Many here are preparing for such an event, why wouldn't they? If they aren't, why should we care about their fate?
