We Caused It.

'we' of course did not cause it. because we the people do not control government. We weren't even aware that back in the 1990's our government was sending subsidized food to Mexico even though it was known in advance that this would throw millions of people off the land with every expectation that they'd come north. It was a bad policy of our government to send subsidized food like that to Mexico. Our government knew they were coming north already. Our government knew that throwing people off the land would cause many more to come. The Americans didn't know it because they were watching tv and probably not informed on that issue. But the government knew.

other events that pushed them north were - their government devalued their curreny by 75% and at the same time their money supply contracted by about a third. This created a huge economic depression. They were forced north just as in Ireland and Scotland in the 1600's people were treated very badly, making their lives impossible, and prompting them to come to America. the people who did it, did it with their eyes wide open and knew perfectly well.

The mexican elite are as anti-Mexican as the American elite are anti-American. They agreed with the US to let US grain into their country with no tariff. They knew what the result would be. I read that in less than 10 years 25 million Mexicans moved off of the land that their families had previously occupied for generations. that was primarily because of the US corn which is heavily subsidized. and when the mexicans protested this situation it resulted in warfare. In southern Mexico actual warfare broke out over this issue. Obviously the mexican government won those battles.

also, I've read that Goldman Sachs was very involved in the financial machinations that caused the mexicans to want to come north. These things don't happen in a vacuum. The mexican elite conspired strongly against the mexican people and it seems that the US government and other US institutions helped in the process.

watch people hysterically scream about arizona & how 'SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!!!!' without acknowledging any of the plain truth in the article. Good post, thanks. one sad aspect is that general goods in Mexico at stores are always more expensive than they are in the u.s. i know, because i am notoriously frugal, know my prices. i always resent paying more for stuff when i am there, & feel bad for residents there who for the most part, earn much less than we do. Medical care & prescriptions, though, are much cheaper there.

All that stuff matters only because the U.S. government will not shoot border jumpers.

Nobody hates their own race. Ask them what race they belong to.

Since RX's are mostly legal poison, what does that tell you about Mexican government price control in relationship to their food cost? If the Mexicans are getting humped thanks to an oligarchy, let them rise up. Many here are preparing for such an event, why wouldn't they? If they aren't, why should we care about their fate?

The real solution, though, to illegal immigration is changing our own economic policies that foster and support illegal immigration. Until the U.S. recognizes it created the increased illegal immigration through its economic policies, illegal immigration will continue to be a problem.

What nonsense.

That's the point we're taking the heat off the globalist parasites that rule Mexico by allowing them to work here and send remittances.

no disagreement but until then, if we made it impossible for them to send their money home, they'd leave.

Probably wouldn't do any good, and I doubt they'd start a libertarian, freedom based government, unless you call Cuba a freedom based libertarian government.

Of course that would leave the door open for Military rule..... Latin America has usually flourished under it.

No "we" didn't cause it. No one causes someone to break the law.

The problem here is that the USA is ruled by foreign interests, namely the owners of the Federal Reserve. They do not care about the prosperity and well being of American citizens, they only care that they keep their power and increase it whenever possible. Until the Federal Reserve is abolished, and those in it are hung, this crap will continue. Only then can we have a chance to have a prosperous America again.

God is always good!

I wont.

That is two laws they have broken, illegal entry and failing to register for a draft if the right age.
