Phoenix, AZ (AUGUST 17) - U.S. Senate Candidate J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) released a new web-video juxtaposing Hayworth's position on "birthright citizenship" and McCain's. The video highlights that while McCain believes children born by non-citizens on U.S. soil "clearly" should be granted citizenship, Hayworth believes that is in direct conflict with the original intent of the authors of the 14th Amendment.
Mike Huckabee says he's against repealing parts of the 14th Amendment. (CNN) Mike Huckabee says he's against changing portions of the Constitution that automatically grant citizenship to children of immigrants born in the United States - a position that puts the potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate at odds some of his party's most prominent figures.
In an interview that aired on NPR Wednesday, the former Arkansas governor and 2008 White House hopeful said the section of the 14th Amendment currently in question has long been held valid.
"The Supreme Court has decided that, I think, in three different centuries, said Huckabeee. "In every single instance, they have affirmed that if you are born in this country, you are considered to be a citizen. The only option there is to change the constitution."
Asked specifically if he would favor such an effort to change the constitution, Huckabee said flatly, "No."

The BOTTOM LINE is that McCain will bend, shift, morph, and pour himself into ANY mold if he thinks he'll get a vote or two out of it.
Will AZ voters reelect that back peddling & flip-flopping John McCain?
It would seem that Gov. Jan Brewer has more POLITICAL stones then the sum total of McCain the war hero, Bush1 the war hero, Clinton the draft dodger, and Bush2 the weekend warrior. If these men had what Gov. Jan Brewer has, then there would be not illegal crises today.
So now the war hero McCain wants to keep his job. God bless him for his sacrifice. However the issues AZ faces are today.
McCain said no troops to the border, now he says yes when the political wind shifted. He puts out a reelection advertisement of tough boarder sealing now that the political wind has shifted. It seem John McCain flips one way then flips the other with the political wind.
There is BIG problem today. The illegals have been pouring over the border for decades. R. Reagan fixed the problem with a brokered deal in 1986. If John McCain had stood by those laws created in 1986, there would be no illegal crisis today. It seems McCain is part of the problem. .
"I don't agree with it; I think it's the wrong course," Romney said at the outset of four appearances in the first presidential primary state. "I do not believe amnesty is the right course for the 11 or 12 million illegal immigrant who are living here. It didn't work in the 1980s; it's not going to work in the 2000s either."
McCain, who announced Wednesday night that he will formally become a candidate next month, previously drafted legislation with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., that categorized illegal immigrants and established different criteria for them to remain in the United States legally a so-called "path to citizenship."
Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, said he opposes amnesty, favors securing the U.S.-Mexico border with a fence, and wants to institute an employment verification system through high-tech identification cards.
"Senator McCain's record of service and sacrifice for America is honored by all," Romney said in a statement.
One useless shithead supporting another.
That should tell you all you need to know about Romney.
"Had McCain supported my efforts in 2005 to secure the U.S. border, rather than stubbornly supporting amnesty, we would not be trying to apply quick fixes today," Hayworth said.
McCain argued that he's been working for years on securing the border and says he's worked directly with Mexican President Felipe Calderon on the issue.
NOTE:
Juan Hernandez is the same man that arranged private meetings between (then) Gov. George W. Bush and Mexican President Vicent Fox in 1996 in MEXICO CITY. THAT was BEFORE Bush even ran for president - the FIX WAS IN.

Securing the border for Mexico's illegal migrants is what he means there, no doubt.
Children born to foriegn diplomats here aren't considered to be the jurisdiction of the United States. The 14th Amendment doesn't apply to them, nor does it apply to "anchor babies" by illegals from Mexico. Nationality kidnapping is what the 14th Amendment has been construed to imply by globalists for Open Borders.
