Obama, speaking to ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," was talking about what he described as "smears" that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian. We’re participating here in a tweak of the media. Obama said he’s going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states. There are 57 Islamic states. “Every year from 1999 to 2005, the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states,” this is from the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And the title of the piece here is, “How the Islamic states dominate the UN human rights council,” and there are 57 of them. So did Obama just lose his bearings, or was this a more telling slip, ladies and gentlemen? Obama’s 57 states, not just a simple gaffe. He might have been thinking of the 57 Islamic states when he said he was going to campaign in all 57 states >
"Let's not play games," Obama stated. "What I was suggesting – you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come."
Stephanopoulos immediately interrupted Obama, stating, "Christian faith."
"My Christian faith," Obama quickly said. "Well, what I'm saying is that he (McCain) hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith – something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time." ----- http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=74635

Of course he's a Muslim and he's from Kenya. He himself has admitted that he is a Muslim and his wife, his grandma and the Kenyan ambassador have all said that he was from Kenya. Bill Richardson, talking to a crowd of what were probably illegal aliens, said that Obama was "an immigrant." How much more proof do people need?
With most of them, no amount of proof would work. But we'll just keep rubbing noses in it. :-)
Jackie Broles (sp?) of Red State Update said that even if he was a Muslim it was still way down on his list of reasons why people should hate him, lol!
