This is a slap in the face. The supporters of the Ground Zero Mosque are planning something that is insulting to everyone who suffered in the September 11th atrocities. In a crass move, a protest is planned on the ninth anniversary of the murders even as the site's Twitter feed asks for contributions: "The Cordoba Initiative needs your help!!! Please donate on our website and help support our programs that focus on [peace, tolerance, and understanding!]" The protests come as those against the project will also be speaking out: "Muslim and Arab-American groups will meet later this week to discuss how to mark the anniversary, which could coincide with the Muslim holiday marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr. "We're not going to do (a rally) across the street. That's not the approach that we're doing," said Linda Sarsour, the director of the Arab American Association of New York."

A bunch of Jews dressed as Muslims protesting, who cares? Only the emotional brain dead Americans that keep falling for the same damn lies, over and over again.

That was basically my first thought - someone is trying to further inflame the situation. It is already a "Tempest in a Tea Pot", but it is great negative PR and that is what it is being played for.

Divide and conquer, yada yada yada, idiots. The entire world economy is collapsing, world war III, is close to beginning if not already begun, and we are arguing about what can be built on private land by people who bought and paid for the property. Sheeesh. 'Mericans never cease to amaze me with their blatant stupidity and ignorance, certainly an alchemy of evil. Bush Bimbaugh said recently he was outraged, I am paraphrasing, that Muzzies could build on Hallowed ground in the US but Israelis couldn't build homes on their own land. My God, the lies the so-called main stream keeps spewing about the ZioNazis is amazing. I do differentiate between Jews and Zionists, for the record, in my view they are different, all though few and far between.
Sept 11th is the first Saturday after the end of Ramadan, so a lot of Muslim get-togethers are being planned for the same day. I would not want to be on the riot squad that day.
