Why are the bulk of us so willing to be so blind?

It's a perfect illustration of the aphorism: "There are none so blind as those that will not see."

But your question still stands. Why will they NOT see?

It is the fear inbred in peasants, I think.

There is no long form.

I saw a video a couple of years ago of the Mythbusters cast promoting an upcoming (back then) special episode centering on 9/11 and the WTC collapse. They also said that unfortunately, their budget (which would have been the biggest for any episode using scale mock-ups) didn't allow for testing the building 7 collapse.

In any case, this episode has never seen the light of day. I wonder why?

Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

Eric Stratton: Do the bulk of us truly deserve individual liberty?

ghostdogtxn: Certainly not. But if I want it, I have to let people who don't deserve it have it, too.

People who willfully violate their oaths of office don't deserve it and should all be denied the liberty and "license" to continue doing so. If the oaths were intended to be just for show, what's the point? Public office is such a serious responsibility that it should not even be sought by those who disdain and disregard our Constitutional system. They are even more of a danger than operators of heavy machinery under the influence of intoxicating substances -- wanton power being the intoxicant in their case. Enforcement against the violators of their oaths should entail immediate removal or supension from office as fast as if they were being arrested for a DUI, and other penalties too, in order to deter such recklessness. We could elect several back-up people on stand-by to fill each seat as necessary.

Some idiot (CIA agent) on some message board said all skyscrapers by law have to have small nuclear devices in them to take the building down if it suffers too much damage so other buildings would be spared damage. I have never heard of this and don't believe it for a second. You can't hide nuclear devices no matter how small, it is just not possible. But it does show that they are now realizing that denying that it was a controlled demolition is not working anymore so they are trying to make it sound like it was just mandatory law for safety reasons. Of course this is BS, but they are trying nevertheless to get this idea out there.

God is always good!

After learning of McKook's victory, I'd have to say No.

The numbskull factor is way too high in what used to be our country.
