Cindy Sheehan and her Vetrans Against the War are now set up on the mall. They have the field covered with 1800 white crosses and they have set up another field with the boots of fallen soldiers. The traffic around DC got insane today with the people coming in for the rally. I haven't seen it like this since the 1.2 million showed up for the woman's march. I made a trip to Reston earlier today and every car on the train coming back had five or six people going to the rally. People coming in from Dulles with big suitcases that had sleeping bags tied on. They were coming from everywhere.

The sign on the bus! Too funny. I wonder how many will show up in DC for this? They're projecting 100,000 but I wonder if there will be more?

The miniature Arlington on the Mall National Cemetery brings a big hurt to the heart and tears to my eyes. Onesies and twosies don't have the impact on one as drastic as seeing a representation of nearly all those who died for a lie.
Things appear to be reaching a crisis point for the Bush administration. I doubt the police will crack down on the demostrators, but it will be interesting to see what kind of spin Karl Rove and the Electric Jew put on the demostration. I imagine C-SPAN will carry it live.
Life is a tragedy to those who feel, and a comedy to those who think.
I just posted an article re the Saudis warning the US that Iraq is near meltdown.. between Iraq.. the Chicago grand jury, the Abramoff trial and FEMA troubles.. things arent looking too good for Bush..
I went down to the mall about 10:00 this evening. I crossed through the White House plaza to get there. They are setting it up exactly like the anti-Bush area at the inauguration. They have a double row of barriers set up so that there is a corridor running all the way around the White House where the cops will stand. If it is like the inauguration they will have a cop standing every three feet in this corridor to protect the failed leader from his subjects. Really a creepy spectical. I hope to get a nice picture of it.
I wanna see that fat-faced press secretary dance, skip and jump over questions concerning this one.
