If I own plots on either side of the mosque site and I want to open a pair of barbecue restaurants, specializing in pork ribs on either side, do you think the city will approve the zoning? Do you think that Utah Senators will weigh in on my right to use my private property as I please for lawful business?

Or do you think that the pork-themed restaurants will be considered a "provocation" and the permits will be denied?

Someone should ask Bloomberg the question posed here. Would it be ok for someone to put up a rib joint on either side of the mosque? Assuming it was their own private property of course.
