Poster Comment: Back about four years ago, Craigslist started blocking, taking down and otherwise refusing to run ads in the General category for such things a Bible studies or Bible study materials. One such ad that we ran was: Did God really say You must be Born Again? Send any size donation and a long self addressed stamped envelope to: and then our address For a full and accurate Bible study on what God says, in His book, regarding Born Again. Craiglist claimed this violated their user agreement or one thing or another. So, I and other online Christian organizations sent e-mails to our entire list asking them to look at Craigslist in their area and anything that looked as if it violated local, county or state vice laws, should be forwarded to the appropriate AG with a note telling him or her to get to the bottom of this now or his or her replacement would after the next election. At first Craigslist fought, now they have surrendered, so while they tried to hinder the Bible, they instead cleaned up their own site and freed it from most of the porn. And for that I am grateful to all who took part in our campaign to rid craigslsit of porn and to at the same time flex our Christian muscle a little. I may actually hate this guy more than yuktard and Mad Dog. He'd have been just fine accepting the porno postings (and probably surfing them, with the 'rod of god' in the left hand) if they'd given the Christers equal time. Even so people can still post ads for sensual massage. Striking the adult listings just make things harder on legitimate massage therapists trying to make their way in this world. It darn sure ain't gonna stop the worlds oldest profession.
No, it won't slow it down much. I didn't see any mention of Bob's group in the article, nor did Bob mention the 17 state attorneys general who actually brought the pressure, Maine batshit crazy fundy fake-triots notwithstanding. It has been my experience with attorneys general that they are a bunch of prudish old busybodies with lots of skeletons in the closet.
