How reliable are the numbers?

First of all they are approximations based upon existing "official" government data bases. So, all you can REALLY see is the general +/- trends.

They did as good as a job at building the data base calculator for this clock as it can get, imo.

lol.....the latter part of the quote does absoulutely nothing to add an iota of credibility and/or reliability of the numbers, Buck.

How is an approximation from an "official" goobermint data base, REALLY accurate at demonstrating general trends?

The goobermint is REALLY accurate at blowing smoke up the butts of the people, this is a general trend that needs no "official" data base for confirmation.

You take the goobermint bovine excrement as gospel truth, Buck. It explains why you are so confused on so many issues. Your head is so deep up goobermint butt that I fear you are suffering oxygen deprivation.

I'll stick with Gerald Celente. He's far more accurate, despite his work having been deemed "pessimist porn" by the talking heads in the MSM. Any person who is actually INFORMING the public about the goobermint cooking of the books must have a negative label so as the people don't have a VALID and RELIABLE source of information to protect themselves and make sound decisions.

Where was the goobermint trend data prior to the tech crash? Prior to the current banking crash? Prior to the current popping of the mortgage bubble? Prior to the derivative debacle? Prior to the 80's savings and loan scandle? Prior to Enron? Prior to World Com? Gerald was on target while your goobermint trenders were busy creating chaos and hiding the bodies. : )

Buck can you provide ANY trends noted by the goobermint that have come to pass? How is NAFTA working out? How about GATT? The WTO? The IMF? The Federal Reserve? That income tax? Flouride in water? Fall out from nuke testing in the desert? Agent Orange? I could go on and on and on....but the point is that the government DOESN'T PROVIDE RELIABLE DATA for analysis of ANYTHING.

Pull your head out of Obama's butt so you can see some details, Buck. I didn't think you could actually lose any more credibility, but then you go and prove that you can be even more of government shill and disinformation specialist. How much are they paying you to spread the bovine excrement?

Buck, governement whore, specializing in blow jobs and blowing smoke up butts for a nominal fee. lol

Gee, they couldn't even figure out that the baby boomer population increase would lead to reduced funds in the entitlement programs. A third grader could have figured that one out.

You see, Buck, over the years the government has actually shredded all realibility in regards to the data they spin out. Yet, you want to berate Celente who actually has a track record of ACCURACY.

Name me just ONE trend wherein the government has been ACCURATE on anything. There is NO reliability or validiity to be found in the data they dish out, which makes a fitting match for you Buck. I can't recall an iota of reliable data from you either. Carry on with your fear and frenzy over the clock.

I could but we really have no information on the basis for the numbers they give. Are they basing their numbers on just forest cut and number of official trees replanted? Have they included forest density? Urban forest? etc?

We know that the loss of rain forest is not as great as the claims. And I doubt seriously that they are counting rain forest replanted with monoculture.

Then there is forest density. We know from studies that the Sierra Nevada range has more trees than during the late 1800. It has gone from 20 trees/acre to 300 trees/acre.

And I doubt they are counting urban forest etc. We know that the spotted owl decline was really because of encroachment by barred owls from the east. This is only possible because of increases in tree.

At one time in America's history ( about the time of the nation's birth ) moral principles were integrated within the educational curriculum thus producing some of the best leaders the world has ever seen.

But in today's world... moral principles are completely dispensed with. And, we all know it, too. You can see WallStreet is a brilliant example.

Then please tell me when you plan on offing yourself?

There are not too many people on Earth, but there are too many evil bastards on Earth, there always has been. The elite want to reduce the population to 500 million. You know why they want to do this? No, of course you don't know why or you wouldn't think there are too many people on Earth. They want to do this because it gets much harder for them to keep their rule with more people, especially more intelligent people. The first ones to be killed will be the more intelligent ones like the US military has done in Iraq and the Jews did in Russia during the Bolshevik revolution. So you won't have to worry about being killed, they will need you for a good laugh now and then.

=============================================

Back in the day when I was a cost accountant for the DoD, I did voluminous cost data reporting at the major command and installation levels to congress. These were expense and capitalization reports sent directly to the Pentagon and used in the DoD annual budget submissions to Congress.

I did that for four years and toiled at ensuring the data was accurate and all my contra accounting had the utmost integrity.

I was told by a congressman that the reports are submitted to congress .. BUT CONGRESS NEVER EVEN LOOKS AT THEM! They could care less what they say, or how much is being spent, as long as the tax revenue flows in to cover the '5-Year Budget' nobody in Congress gives a rat's ass how much is being spent.

True story.
