Pious Perverts See other Pious Perverts Articles Title: Mormon leader's Masonic Handshake Raises Eyebrows In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Temple ceremony is sacred, and not to be revealed outside of the Temple. On the other hand, Masonic handshakes are permitted to be exchanged anywhere, including in public, as a way to identify a fellow "craft-member". To see a President of the Mormon church exchanging a Masonic grip that signifies "brotherhood" with the Masters of Evil, has caused more than its share of concern both within and without the Church. The difference between the Masonic ordinances and the LDS Temple ordinances are glaringly obvious to someone that understands both. The Masons claim their signs, tokens and ordinances from Solomon's Temple, through the apostate Knights Templars. Whether the Templars discovered their tokens and ordinances in the Temple Mount they excavated, or in the archives at Rome and Constantinople, is not entirely clear. The Mormon Church claims that Joseph Smith received the modern temple ordinances through revelation from God. Most during the Church's Kirtland era, where there was no evidence of Freemason involvement. The first Temple of the Church, built in Kirtland, Ohio, still stands to this day. In Nauvoo,Illinois there was a Freemason Hall, and many of the Church leaders were active in the Free Mason movement. Yet, the Latter-day Saints still built the Nauvoo Temple, demonstrating that Temple ordinances and Freemasonry were separate from each other. When the division within the Church came, a rift erupted between Free Masonry and the Mormons. In fact, Joseph Smith, Hyrum Smith and others were gunned down by the leading Free-Masons in Illinois, after Joseph Smith announced his candidacy for President of the United States. These same Free-Masons destroyed the Nauvoo Temple and left the Masonic Lodge alone. Freemasonry itself gave no special privileges in the Church. Being a Freemason alone did not entitle one to enter the Nauvoo Temple. When Joseph Smith was being murdered he called out using the Masonic distress signal, to no avail. Mormonism banned Freemasonry in Utah for members of the Church. There was a bitter animosity between Brigham Young and those that had killed his prophet. Hyrum Smith and Joseph Smith Senior were both Freemasons in New York, where Joseph Smith saw his first vision and received the Book of Mormon. This should have granted them special privileges. Yet, we can read that Joseph Smith Senior, Hyrum, Joseph and other members of the Smith family were severely persecuted by the prominent citizens of the day, who were also Freemasons. This persecution, which always came directly or indirectly from the hands of Free-Masons, cost Joseph his two adopted sons, frequent "mobbings", severe beatings and ultimately his life. The Masonic Lodge in Nauvoo can be seen as a peace offering to the Masons, but peace was not to be. Even in Utah, the Masons formed the core anti-Mormon political movements almost as soon as they organized their lodge. Free-Masonry rejected Mormonism and Mormonism rejected Freemasonry. This was a fact until 1984. The hand sign given by President Gordon B Hinckley to Dick Cheney would be interpreted by those that are "Illuminated" as a sign of "fellowship" or sharing of the common goals of the New World Order. Shortly after 911, President Hinckley made the statement: "Those of us who are American citizens stand solidly with the president of our nation." He also stated: "But as citizens we are all under the direction of our respective national leaders. They have access to greater political and military intelligence than do the people generally....In a democracy we can renounce war and proclaim peace. There is opportunity for dissent. Many have been speaking out and doing so emphatically. That is their privilege. That is their right, so long as they do so legally. However, we all must also be mindful of another overriding responsibility, which I may add, governs my personal feelings and dictates my personal loyalties in the present situation. When war raged between the Nephites and the Lamanites, the record states that “the Nephites were inspired by a better cause, for they were not fighting for . . . power but they were fighting for their homes and their liberties, their wives and their children, and their all, yea, for their rites of worship and their church. “And they were doing that which they felt was the duty which they owed to their God” (Alma 43:45–46). The Lord counseled them, “Defend your families even unto bloodshed” (Source) This creates a rift between those Mormons that feel our current government is run by Satanic Psychopaths, that engineered 911 to bring ultimate conflict between Christianity and Islam, and those Mormons that believe in the "Divine Rights of Kings". Dr. Stephen Jones was silenced for pointing out that demolitions brought down the Twin Towers and not jet fuel. Was this part of the "Fellowship" Agreement publicly displayed in the above picture? A division is coming within the Mormon Church. It will be between those that desire "fellowship" with an increasingly wicked World, like the Sanhedrin of Old which stated of Jesus Christ: "48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation." (Source) And those that realize the world is run by Satanic Psychopaths that want 90% of us dead.

(1) There is reason to believe that Joseph Smith was either a Mason or was aspiring at one time to be a Mason. He reportedly struck a pose of the Mason sign for something just as he was shot by a lynch mob. It is also believed that some of the LDS ceremonies resemble - or were imagined to resemble - some Mason ceremonies. Clarity on this point is hard to get because both LDS and Masons are close-mouthed about their own secrets even if members of both organizations. (2) Special handshakes, including one the the little fingers crooked, are used in various Temple ceremonies as a symbolic sign of recognition among LDS members who have be elevated to various sacraments. (3) There is a definite limit to the number of shapes of secret handshakes that are inconspicuous. So any two organizations that use secret handshakes are almost bound to have one or a few similar handshakes, although the significances may still be different. (4) The photo that accompanied the original article was not helpful about the handshape used by LDS Pres. Hinckley, but Cheney was using a sort of Masonic grip (I do not know its meaning) ... which coincidentally is the handgrip often used by people who have to do a LOT of handshaking with strangers and is formed in a way that makes it difficult to squeeze hard. So, for celebrities who must meet and shake hands with perhaps a hundred people a day, the handshape in the photo is merely good sense and may have been adopted by them from trial and error with hand injuries rather that from some organization's rituals. SO Cheney and Hinkley using that handshake grip is just force of habit and sensible, without any hidden meanings.

Thanks. I have not formed any firm conclusions based on the article, but thought it interesting. We do know that the Masons are one of the behind the scenes groups manipulating our government. To what degree they exercise power is an unknown.
