I agree that no disrespect should be shown to the flag. But every American should be flying it upside down which is the international symbol of distress. If America is not in dire straits, praytell what would make it much worse? Got troops stationed all over the world watching other people's borders and can't seem to do anything about our own. The country is so deeply in debt that no one alive today has any grandchildren or great, great grandchildren who could ever hope to live long enough to see it ever paid off. Involved in no-win wars for the benefit of the MIC that Eisenhower warned about and in thrall to a bunch of criminal politicians and bankers. If those are not sufficient reasons to fly the flag upside down I would hate to see the calamity it would take to be sufficient cause.
Poster Comment: This was in a cooking magazine that was using a picture of an American flag that wasn't being properly displayed and some folks were having conniptions about it apparently. So I thought I would help 'em out a bit.

I did that once. Went away for a 5 day weekend. Came back and the flag was gone.
Well, you can't do much about thieves (unless you catch them) and idiots. I just posted that to wake someone up. It might jar a bit but anything that hits that wall of cognitive dissonance does that. And some people can work their way through that and learn something, others will read it and say something like "what a know it all ahole" or something to that effect.

Just look around at the condition of the country and tell me if they have fulfilled their oaths to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic. when i was a young man i wore shorts with an upside down american flag sewn on my ass,my brother was with the 173rd airborne in bon song vietnam.I was drugged and in Piedmont Park,Atlanta Ga.I told him about the flag and how i felt.he wrote me and said killing captains or new ltz was rampant..all anyone thought about was how short you were,and how to stay alive. I respect what the flag is supposed to stand for but the republic that it allegedly stood for has been killed off. Now we live in a mobocracy dictatorship that will allow a foreigner to hold the highest office in the land and the members of the Cult of the Black Robe will go along with the fraud.

I sure don't know. I have been telling anyone and everyone who would listen about this and that government fraud for close to thirty years now. And I think I actually got through to some, at least I hope so. But how the greatest nation on earth (at one time) could become what it is now just boggles the mind.

Exactly. They've stolen our cherished symbols. As the socialists did in the 1920's when they stole "liberal" from libertarians that founded the nation. These people are adept at lies and theft. They are scum. The flag today stands for nothing I wish to stand for. What does our nation now practice but hatred for human kind? No thanks. My flag is liberty. It has no color nor shape nor form. It is liberty.

I went to Atlanta on weekends when I was stationed in Myrtle Beach, So. Carolina and stayed at the Heart of Atlanta Motel where they had a 10 meter diving platform I could use. One of my buddies had a girlfriend there. I too spent some time at Piedmont Park (I think) if that's the place where they had rock concerts on weekends.

Yeah, that's the spot ... I have to admit some drug related amnesia however, I recall having a great time whenever in Atlanta !!! Police Dept. somewhere around 10th and Peach Tree was called the "PIG PEN" !

This is a picture from an August 06, 2006 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article on alleged 9/11 "End of Serenity" Shanksville-photographer, Val McClatchey. There the flag flying above her at the memorial and above one showing a White House might look American at first glance but it is depicted with a backwards 93 in the stars area. I enlarged the picture as much as possible on my browser and I can't make out what it says on the flag either.

Just noting also that the red, white, and blue flag on the left side of the pic looks curved on the end and has only 11 bars. Doubtful that's merely due to wind current because it too seems to have a circular logo in the stars area and so does the fainter flag image at the end of the fence line. Strange 9/11 memorial that doesn't have a real American flag anywhere in the vicinity of that pic.

The movers and shakers of the world have long term plans and the ability to implement them without any respect for borders, flags or ethics. The unity of values and morals conducive to a peaceful existence must be voluntarily put in place by the masses worldwide in order to avoid international slavery. I don't believe this will happen because humanity has proven itself unfit for self-rule and easily corrupted.

I agree that the upside down flag is proper today. our country is in severe distress. Our leadership is hostile towards us and evil as well. Our people follow this leadership like sheep. Unfortunately, many of our people are extremely intolerant to any truthful comment on this situation.

Unfortunately, many people are riding the stupid train and glad they're on board. They don't know (meaning they are ignorant but that can be cured through education) and they don't want to know (and that makes 'em stupid).

Most people IMO would opt to be "tagged" via some RFID technology and therefore choose to be treated like cattle.
