I have been away for a while and have missed a lot of news. I have been wondering...no, I'm violently curious. What has happened about the two auxilliary pipelines that BP was drilling to release the pressure on the failed BOP that caused the gusher in the Gulf of Mexico? What has BO decided about offshore drilling? Is it on again or off again? If it's on again is BP still continuing with the two pipelines to exploit any further profits that can be gained from the site? Maybe the site has been tapped out, drained dry, or the locals have told them to get out of there. I don't know.
I see that BP is now trying to spread the blame for the disaster to Haliburton and TransOcean, perhaps rightly so, or could this be a ruse to complete their pipelines in that area, since it proved to be such a bountiful source of oil.
