The guy who calls himself Raven has a blog and he was explaining to people about a "match" he had with Tommy Dreamer and how Dreamer introduced him as "daddy's friend" to his two little girls before the show. And explained to them that they were going to act and that it would all be all right. It is very rare when they really don't get along--can and has happened of course but not often. They seem to be a lot like carnival/circus folks just going around putting on shows.

THey get hurt though. Austin IIRC pretty much destroyed his knees. I like the old school better than the modern crap. Back then, they actually worked hard on their gimmicks and some were great in front of a camera. One of my favorites was Jim Cornette with his ever present tennis racket and red suit. Now it's all about acrobatics and I'm surprised that more of them don't get hurt than they already do. Some of it is just crazy shit. You cant fake being dumped on your back onto a ladder or jump off and fall 15 or so feet. You will never just roll an ankle, you'll snap it in half. That old ECW was insane for doing things like that. .

Both were rushed to the hospital, as Anderson suffered scissor stab wounds to the chest and stomach.* Sid was released from WCW after several wrestlers threatened to walk out because of him. It had been planned to have Sid challenge then-World Heavyweight Champion Vader at that year's Starrcade, but Sid's departure removed him from this match and Ric Flair was elevated to be the challenger against Vader. Based on WCW Worldwide tapings that took place his departure, Sid would have defeated Vader and become the new champion. In one event never aired on television at these tapings, Sid placed the massive Vader in a torture rack. In another event, Sid beat Awesome Kong in 45 seconds in a match taped to air on WCW Saturday Night December 4, 1993, but ended up not airing. On the February 20, 1995 episode of Monday Night Raw, Eudy returned to the WWF under the ring name Sycho Sid, where he became the bodyguard of Shawn Michaels. He, along with Jenny McCarthy, accompanied Michaels to ringside for Michaels' WWF Championship match against the champion and Michaels' former bodyguard, Diesel, at WrestleMania XI. Yeah, you can get hurt (even killed) in professional "wrestling." Owen Hart died in an accident about ten years ago, something like that. Here is the video where Sid broke his leg. It is not for people who are squeamish. *I imagine there may have been large quantities of alcohol and perhaps other "medication" involved in that altercation. Not that I know for sure, just a hunch.
