Here is a quick look at a profound set of facts: All individuals who file tax returns waive their Fifth Amendment Rights. The Government cannot require individuals to waive their Fifth Amendment Rights. Therefore, the Government cannot require individuals to file tax returns.

Section. 1. The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.
I am sure you know this but the 16th Amendment, even if it had been legally ratified (which it was not) did not actually give the government any taxing power they didn't already have. And the Supreme Court has so stated. That being the case, how many brain cells do people need to understand that their "compensation" (wages or salaries) are NOT the object of the income tax? It says right there in Article III that the Judges "...shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office..." Does taxing compensation "diminish" it? Only a seriously mentally challenged individual would say that it doesn't. And since Congress has no authority to diminish the salary of the judges and since the Constitution forbids titles of nobility they also have no authority to tax what people earn exercising their RIGHT to work in any common-law occupation. (Privileged occupations, those which require government licenses and permits MAY be taxable depending on the activity).
Another thing. Since it clearly states that "In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction," why did the government and Arizona start out in a district court with their dispute? Original jurisdiction lies with the Supreme Court, not the district courts or appellate courts.

Are the terms State and STATE the same ? Is the Arizona Republic the same as AZ. ?
Is The STATE OF AZ a FEDERAL subsidiary of WASHINGTON D.C. ?
