Historians are fighting to get countries to recognize the benefits to large nations from the slave trade. They are asking that the trade be recognized as a crime against humanity, which would open the door to reparations. Sorry, I'm not a miracle worker, your cure lies first in recognizing that you are. However, I suspect that you must as well overcome the towering ego of the ignorant who need not study, learn, or engage in anything resembling actual thought as they are frequently convinced that the little they know is everything there is. As for me I'm just a humble man trying to understand better the world in which he finds himself, and the more I learn the more I am aware of how little I do know.
