Farmer, consumer outcry helping to stop passage of draconian 'food safety' bill

(NaturalNews) Advocates of Senate Bill 510 (S.510) -- also known as the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act -- are lamenting the delayed passage of the sweeping legislation that many say threatens American food freedom. According to reports, opposition from the public, local farmers and some members of Congress could delay a vote on the bill until November -- and may even kill it completely.

According to a recent New York Times article in obvious favor of the legislation, the Senate calendar is filled with a multitude of other bills that need to be voted on before members leave for the campaign trail in October. But since not all members are in favor of the legislation, advocates are straining to find ways to get it passed.

Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) opposed the bill because he believes the increased FDA authority over food granted by the bill would not necessarily improve food safety. And Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) says the bill gives the federal government too much power over small farms and facilities, and that local authorities are better suited to enforce existing food safety laws.

Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) recently criticized Coburn for opposing the bill, accusing him of playing "politics" and emphasizing that in light of the recent Iowa egg recall, it is "unconscionable" to oppose the legislation.

But it is now becoming widely believed that the recall was designed to scare the public into accepting S.510. Many say the panic and frenzy fueled by the media over the recall do not warrant the passage of a bill that potentially eliminates American sovereignty over its own food.

Significant grassroots opposition efforts have also helped stall the bill, at the behest of some of its most avid supporters. Linda Cohen-Cole, a small farm advocate from Atlanta, is cited in the New York Times as saying the bill is "a fascist takeover of the entire food supply."

They've overplayed their hand. A significant segment of the public is very suspicious of their motives and how they operate.

Agreed, but a lot of the Sheeple still treat what the Presstitutes publish and misrepresent on the subject as authoritative. So, this message needs to be repeated over and over to counteract at least some of the wall of propaganda being catapulted.

This, along with Hellthcare, ARE key agenda items for the eugenics and kill off the "useless eaters" crowd.

That leads to an idea worth discussing.

One could find some nice Black Panther like radicals and plant in their heads the idea that Obamacare is a way to get rid of "unwanted" people like themselves.

What would they do with that sort of information?

Of course, I would never personally advocate such a thing as it may lead to much violence, but still, as an academic and intellectual exercise, it may be well worth pondering the ramifications of such an idea.

Somewhere, Jimmy Carter is laughing and saying, "Finally! I won't be the worst President ever!"

One in the same.

This is a verrrrrrrrry dangerous bill. What it is really aimed at is food control, and control of the population by controlling their access to food and what kind of food.

If you can force people, out of hunger, to eat foods that are slow death, cause infertility, etc., to them it is just another means of reducing the population. Who cares if the little people suffer? It's not like they're real people anyway.

We've absorbed all the debt we can. The bank is bust. The Banksters stole it all and are getting ready to close up shop and skip town with their loot, and leaving us with our bags of debt. We're useless eaters now, cutting into their profits.

The solution of course is to not play THEIR game. While I don't see it happening real soon, at some point there will be a revolt, and they know it. Their game is to forestall it as long as possible until we are too weak to succeed.

What we have to do is survive. To do that we must create a different "game".

Ha, ha.

Their are many small actions people can take. Simply thriving despite everything they are trying to throw at us is an act of resistance. The last thing these monsters want is for people to actively work on an individual level to take those actions they can to avert the affects of their actions and plans.

Psychotics are both manic and brittle. They will keep coming at you, and comming at you, and coming at you, and if you persist in the face of their assaults they eventually decline into apathy and self destruct. I didn't say it would be easy just not impossible.

Their game is SLAVERY. Slavery through fractional reserve banking, fiat money, THE GREAT FEDERAL RESERVE! DEBT!

Can we stop working?

Take back our land?

Stop paying taxes?

Stop voting?

Print our own interest free money based on our own productivity?

That would be the solution because that would not be playing THEIR game and it sounds a lot like secession to me.

SECEED NOW!

The fun part about this is that probably among the reasons the Federal Reserve was structured as a private entity, separate from government, was so that when the time came, government could state it had no responsibility for the debts created by a private entity. Cutting the Federal Reserve loose, and screwing over the debt holders.

It's a lot more fun than you think.

The banks can’t validate the debt because they never sustained a loss; they can’t verify any claim against me because I am not the NAME they are billing. They can’t produce a copy of the contract because one doesn’t exist. What exists is an unenforceable unilateral contract. What the banks refer to as ‘your contract with us’ is not a valid bilateral agreement since the four requirements of a lawful, binding contract were not met on the credit card/loan ‘application’, namely: 1. Full Disclosure (we are not told that we are creating the credit with our signature); 2. Equal Consideration (they bring nothing to the table, hence they have nothing to lose); 3. Lawful Terms and Conditions (they are based upon fraud); and 4. Signatures of the Parties/ Meeting of the Minds (corporations can’t sign because they have no right, or mind, to contract as they are legal fictions). Credit cards/loans are win/ win for the banks and lose/ lose for everyone else – it is the slickest con game on the planet.

It is so slick that is slipped out of their control.
