12 women and children killed in Iran bombing 22/09 19:04 CET
A deadly bomb attack has struck a military parade in Iran.
At least 12 women and children are dead and 60 others wounded.
The event was being held to mark the 30th anniversary of the Iran-Iraq war.
“We were just standing there and suddenly a bomb exploded,” said one victim. “We all ran away. When I wanted to move, I noticed I couldn’t move my legs.”
“A lot of people were injured and killed, a lot of children,” said another victim. “The bomb exploded right next to me.”
The attack happened in the West Azerbaijan region, in the city of Mahabad, which has a mostly Kurdish population.
“The source of this incident is foreign,” said the regional governor, Vahid Jalalzadeh. “Unfortunately Americans and their allies are present in the region and from the day that they came with their security slogan, we witnessed a spread of instability. Their support for counter-revolutionaries, hypocrites and terrorist groups in the region has been clearly proven.”
Authorities say the bomb had a timer device and had been left in a tree before the parade started.
No casualties were reported among soldiers or dignitaries attending the event.

Every country that the US targets for military conquest experiences these types of bombings. Warfare is now done by killing civilians instead of military targets. We've read that in Iraq there were 1.5 million Iraqis who died due to the US invasion and occupation. But the US military did not kill all of those people, instead only a small minority of the total. Iraq did not have a single suicide bomber in all of its history. and then the invasion happened. and then they had lots of civilians getting killed all the time by suicide bombers and other bombing efforts. Eventually they beg the Americans to stay and keep order.
a few years ago we read a White House Press Release that said the US (under Bush) was allocating $450 million to an undercover effort run by the CIA to overthrow the government of Iran. Since that time rebel groups inside of Iran have tried to kill their president, but did not succeed and have engaged in this type of terrorism. What are the chances that the US taxpayers ultimately paid for this bombing to happen? What do you think the chances are that after the first $450 million ran out the CIA got more money for this program? what do you think that those hikers imprisoned by Iran are really undercover intelligence people?
