Awwwwwww...... My little second chance hound looks a lot like the fawn in this picture. You know, since I've been making her grub twice a day, it occured to me that she eats better than billions of people. But, she's worth it. : )

How is your sweet greyhound doing? I've heard these dogs are such great companions.
They are fantastic companions and I highly recommend this breed to all. I've fostered many over the years too. They are smart, sweet and mellow. Hannah is doing very well for 12 years old and she loves her new homemade diet. It's really helping with the renal failure. She only has two teeth, but she gobbles it down in no time. Since I began the new diet, she dances around before every meal. When I had her on the special vet dog food, she had very little interest and was losing weight. We can't have that when food is such a joy for her. : )

I loved it ... I have a bunch of cats at the farm (one I call mama has been with me out there for over seven years and she's really special) and we have the cutest calico at home ... and I always thought I was a dog person ???
