Title: Aliens Are Monitoring Our Nukes, Worry Ex-Air Force Officers

Captain Robert Salas was on duty in Montana in 1967 when a UFO shut down the nuclear missiles on his base. And he's hardly the only one to make such a claim.

On Monday, six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about similar events at the National Press Club, all centering around unidentified flying objects and nuclear missiles. They plan to urge the government to publicly confirm the incidents, stating that they were ordered never to discuss the events.

"We're talking about unidentified flying objects, as simple as that," Salas told FoxNews.com. "They're often known as UFOs, you could call them that," he added. Salas, a former U.S. Air Force nuclear missile launch officer, will host the event along with researcher Robert Hastings, author of "UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

According to the pair, witness testimony from more than 120 former or retired military personnel points to an ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial objects at nuclear weapons sites, as recently as 2003. In some cases, several nuclear missiles simultaneously and inexplicably malfunctioned while a disc-shaped object silently hovered nearby.

"I was on duty when an object came over and hovered directly over the site," Salas said, regarding the March 16, 1967, event at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. "The missiles shut down, 10 Minuteman missiles. And the same thing happened at another site a week later," he said.

Are they evidence of unknown military action from a foreign country, or are these extraterrestrial visitors? Salas thinks the answer is clear -- and finds it curious that they're so interested in our nuclear arsenal.

"There's a strong interest [in our missiles] by these objects, wherever they come from. I personally think they're not from planet Earth."

Another participant, retired Col. Charles Halt, observed a disc-shaped object directing beams of light down into the RAF Bentwaters airbase in England and heard on the radio that they landed in the nuclear weapons storage area. Both men claim the Air Force warned them never to disclose details of the events.

"The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it," Salas said. Col. Halt adds, "I believe that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted -- both then and now -- to subvert the significance of what occurred at RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation."

The group plans to distribute declassified U.S. government documents at the event that they claim will substantiate the reality of UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites extending back to 1948. The press conference will also address present-day concerns about the abuse of government secrecy as well as the ongoing threat of nuclear weapons.

"This is only the tip of the iceberg, these stories," Salas told FoxNews.com. (1 image)

"This is only the tip of the iceberg, these stories," Salas told FoxNews.com.

That is the truth.

As a firm foundation of what we do NOT know and understand, one can research history for hundreds of years and find endless reports of "UFO's".

Even Columbus recorded one such in his sailing log. Only in our time have governments tried to deny such events.

Several "Christians" I know say that UFOs are manned by demons and we should be prepared to pray and toss holy water on them......

And, wouldn't it be ironic after the countless miles logged by boomers on secret patrols, and the loss of life from several mysterious sub downings, (Thresher, Scorpion, and the Ruskies' Kursk) if they never would have been able to launch their SLBMs such as the Russian R-29 or the American Trident?

Imagine spending years on arduous sea duty in the silent service and just as a launch was attempted a bunch of little weirdos like the characters in MARS ATTACKS beam onboard the subs, going "YAK YAK YAK,,,,YAK YAK YAK YAK....."

Forgive me. I smell the concoction of a campaign of mental conditioning in the works here.

I approach all assertions having to do with "UFO's" with extreme prejudice. The manifestation of extraterrestrial intelligence is a subject that excites the imagination in strange and powerful ways, and one in which the state holds all of the cards as it purports to have most of the corroborating evidence in its voluminous collection of data on the topic.

The military works hand in glove with Hollywood and has all the masters of illusion in its pay. The moment one of its officers opens his lips, I am braced to hear the latest gem of disinformation the Pentagon has crafted for us.

Although I've NOT seen any alien being, I have seen, from approx. 1/4 mile range, an unknown flying/cruising/hovering/surveiling 'unit', 'object', 'form', complete with the colored lights underneath. Totally soundless. This was in '73.

I very carefully determine the opportunity correctness to admit to that event, and then measure the response. Usually, it's reasonably recieved.

But I dont know who was flying them, or where they came from, and I wont guess.

I wouldn't even guess. But they were silent, and they flew like they were rocks skipping on water, bouncing up nad down. And there was no formation. It was just a group. They were at low level, maybe at most 500', there were about 6 or 7, I saw them coming in from the north. It happened on I-8 in AZ in daylight, they flew at about 300 mph, north to south and from the front and side they looked like F-16 sized frisbees. There were no vertical surfaces.

They did not react to me in any way that I could tell. They deliberately flew right in front of me. If they had shifted course they could have flown behind me and I'd have never known that they were there. No one would have seen them since I had the road to myself. I-8 isn't that heavily traveled.

And now, you know as much about them as I do.

The one I saw from about 1/4 mi. away was moving at about 10 mph from my right to left, east to west.

The strangest part to me was that it was like a slight/moderately "out of focus" photo. No really sharp definition. Absolutely NO noise or sound of any kind. I'm a private pilot, and know enough about aerodynamics to know there was no normal lift in place, so the lack of sound eliminates Thrust from anything/source still known.

Thats fine.

I am of the cynical nature about such but I also read with an open mind.

There is a long list of military/commercial pilots statements. One was from a fighter pilot named Swimley. We grew up together. He later went on to become a wing commander in the USAF. After his original sighting, he was never involved again in any way that I know of.

After my own experience, twenty five years military/FAA, I know what I saw and did not hear. Any explanation was above my pay grade.

I dont know what to say about yours being out of focus. That requires speculation. Mine were easy to see and very physical.

I haven't seen any such remarkable things myself, but I have spoken with a number of people that have. I've heard some truly arresting stories form folks that I have no reason to suspect of ulterior motives.

There is no compelling reason to believe that the unexplained things that people see originate from outside our sphere. The suggestion that this is so is very compelling simply because of the way that our minds are wired. Mindful of the power that such suppositions have over our minds, it is good to be watchful of how these phenomena might be manipulated.

Christopher Columbus saw a ‘UFO’ according to the book Beyond Earth: Man's Contact with UFOs in reference to 'The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus' (1850). Columbus saw ‘a light glimmering at a great distance’ that …vanished, only to reappear several times during the night, each time dancing up and down ‘in sudden and passing gleams’.

Michaelangelo (1475-1564) became an apprentice in 1488 to Ghirlandaio just two years after Carlos Crivelli (c. 1435-c. 1495) painted “The Annunciation of St. Emidius” in 1486. Crivelli’s painting clearly shows a flying saucer-like UFO shining a light downward.

Long afore the UFO paranoia. All factual that modern man cannot twist nor spin.

It is just there, recorded by enlightened men.

2nd: Very interesting, if it's legit. I didn't see the program, that I can remember

3rd: That tether cannot be used as a ruler when you don't know how far the objects are from that tether. But another interesting vid!

The last on is imo the best one. There is missing physical evidence. Blades do not just disappear.

It is just there, recorded by enlightened men.

Well, several things come into play there. One is that there is a perception. Second there is the interpretation of that perception in the mind of the perceiver. Third there is the report. And fourth there is the interpretation of the report. What may result is an objective transmission of the outline of some phenomenon. There is also lots of room here for the construction of an event completely at odds with what was experienced.

I was cruising around in the thirsty desert once in a Land Rover, and I saw a great blue lake in the distance. I even fancied that I saw a tiny boat tooling around on the surface of the water. It was a classic mirage.

It's good to have an open mind about the nature of the world around us and things like the possibility of an intelligence other than our own. I believe however that beyond the mere possibility of such things, there is a real need and yearning among humans to believe in such an intelligence other than our own.

It's not beyond the power and capability of those who manufacture our culture to use that yearning to their own advantage. So I'll repeat: You should be watchful of the power that such suppositions have over our minds, and think about how these phenomena might be manipulated.

Remember, I am the resident CYNIC here.

Remember the time factor is very important. Whether someone may or may not be trying to spin modern day events drops to second place.

Beyond Columbus and the others, history is replete with such mention. Long afore the days of instant worldwide communication, the ones I have researched in the past demonstrate there was never any hint of collaboration, in fact it was impossible.

pulling out the alien card? maybe they're getting desperate....or just playing their end game...a new world order united against a common threat [or in league with a "savior" from another planet, as the case may be]. "aliens"/"ufos" are from the government, which could put the technology to propel them to far better use by providing free energy for mankind. that unfortunately does not conform to their plan for a global plantation, with all of us their slaves forever.

"Today America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing that man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government." Henry Kissinger 1991

"I couldn't help but say to him , just how easy his task and mine might be in these meetings that we held if suddenly there was a threat to this world from another species from another planet outside in the universe. We'd forget all the little local differences that we have between our countries and we would find out once and for all that we really are all human beings here on the Earth together." Reuters, "Reagan Images Star Wars," International Herald Tribune, Paris, Dec. 5th, 1985

"The Soviets and the democracies will adopt the best characteristics of each other and, in the process of many years, there will not be a strict line of demarcation between their ideals; therefore no causes for war between them...because of the the developments of science all the countries on earth will have to unite to survive and make a common front against attack by people from other planets." New York Times "M'Arthur Greets Mayor of Naples," Oct. 8, 1955

Deathbed confessions, photos support claims that George H. Scherf(f), Jr., was the 41st U.S. president

According to Otto Skorzeny, pictured is the Scherff family and a few friends (circa 1938). Holding “Mother" Scherff’s hand at left is Martin Bormann. In front is Reinhardt Gehlen. In back is Joseph Mengele and to his right is Skorzeny as a young man. At center right (in the German navy uniform) is George H. Scherff, Jr. and his father George H. Scherff, Sr. Bormann became Hitler’s second in command. Reinhardt Gehlen was a chief SS officer and assassin who was smuggled out of Germany under Operation Paperclip. Skorzeny was Hitler's bodyguard and SS spy/assassin who came to the U.S. after the war under Project Paperclip. Skorzeny and GHW Bush were instrumental in merging Nazi (SS) intelligence with the OSI to form the CIA with "Wild Bill" Donovan and Allen Dulles. These guys were also part of CIA mind control experiments such as MK-ULTRA. SS officer and physician Joseph Mengele, the notoriously sadistic “Angel of Death” of Auschwitz, escaped Germany to South America after the war. George H. Scherff, Jr., became the 41st President of the United States as GHW Bush and George H. Scherff, Sr., was Nicola Tesla’s “trusted assistant.”......

"...By and large, Tesla’s inventions and his career were excluded from our history books because his inventions and patents were stolen and then weaponized. It was never intended for us to learn about the suppression of Tesla’s advanced scientific discoveries, nor about those who profited from their theft—the orchestrators of the master plan.

Though much has been written about Tesla’s successes and failures, few have detailed the behind-the-scenes financial activities which disclose a Nazi plot to acquire his technology, while research and development costs had largely been paid (unknowingly) by U.S. taxpayers. Many of Tesla’s patents fell into Nazi hands prior to and during World Wars I and II. As a result, Tesla continuously found himself in litigation over patent rights and other issues.

Although he had succeeded in winning the majority of his patent lawsuits, his technology had been repeatedly stolen and sold to the German Nazis and other foreign governments, so he never achieved the financial success he deserved. The embezzlement of his capitalization went unchecked throughout Tesla’s career. At the time of his death (by murder, according to Skorzeny) on January 6, 1943, Tesla died virtually penniless.

Tesla’s Assistant,

George H. Scherff, Sr.

Nikola Tesla’s successes in discovering new technologies did not go unnoticed by many industrial capitalists and world governments. In fact, many of his inventions were developed through secret government programs which began soon after his discoveries in alternating current (AC), electromagnetic energy, electric motors, generators, coils, radio transmission, energy-saving devices, and wireless transmission technologies.

Since Tesla was often buried deep in research at remote labs, many of his financial and legal affairs were supervised by his closest associate, George H. Scherff. Scherff often advised Tesla about pending patent litigation, contracts, proposals, demonstrations, and financial affairs. As any trusty associate would, Scherff stood beside Tesla through all the ups and downs of his financial nightmares, sometimes arranging for extended credit at the Waldorf-Astoria, where Tesla often resided, or by obtaining a cash advance toward research he had been contracted to perform. Near the end of his career, Tesla was evicted from the Waldorf for an outstanding bill which exceeded $20,000 — a rather large sum for those days.

As Tesla worked on secret U.S. government projects at Colorado Springs, Colorado, Scherff communicated to Tesla the status of his business affairs. Tesla spoke of hopeful, future financial successes, though Scherff repeatedly delivered the news of dwindling funds. Tesla had begun construction of a wireless power transmission tower (“Wardenclyffe,” Shoreham, Long Island) with funds invested by J.P. Morgan. When Morgan discovered that the tower would transmit free electricity and radio waves, he cancelled the project and had the tower dismantled, then sold for scrap. Morgan was not about to allow Americans to receive free electricity, television and radio. Tesla was devastated when he received the news, but continued on with his new inventions......"

.....George Scherff, Sr., had connections with the Rockefeller family, though it is unclear if Tesla was at all aware of this connection......

....Otto Skorzeny claimed that the true identity of George H.W. Bush was “George H. Scherff, Jr., the son of Nikola Tesla’s illegal-immigrant, German-born accountant, George H. Scherff, Sr.” .....

Skorzeny did not stop there. He produced a photo of a young Skorzeny, Mengele, Bormann, and the family of George H. Scherff, Sr.. Seated in the midst of those in the photo was a young George H. Scherff, Jr., who, Skorzeny explained, was trained as a spy and sent to America to work for Adolph Hitler. “He was given false identification and adopted by Prescott Sheldon Bush as his “son,” George Herbert Walker Bush,” Skorzeny went on. “He forged a birth certificate in order to enter the military before he turned 18. He was 16 at the time.”

In the family photo, a young Scherff and Bormann both sported a German Navy uniform. Scherff later enlisted in the U.S. Navy as “George H.W. Bush.”.....

A biographical article about Nikola Tesla appeared in the Tesla Tech, Inc. magazine, “Extraordinary Technology,” Volume 4, Number 3, Aug., Sept., Oct., 2006. [15] The article, written by Dustin Wallace, spoke of Tesla’s childhood, some of his inventions, and his last days. Wallace wrote (pp. 21-22), “The Yugoslav Monarchy in Exile was summoned to visit Tesla in the fall of 1942. However, Charlotte Muzar, a secretary, paid Tesla the visit. From his condition upon her arrival she felt as though he may not live through the night. Another friend of Tesla’s, Kenneth Swezey visited him during the time and noted that he was existing on warm milk and Nabisco crackers alone. It was apparent that Tesla was nearing the end of his time. By late December of 1942, Tesla began meeting with two U.S. government agents in order to share some of his most sensitive discoveries. These men carried away many of his documents for microfilming.”

“On January 4, 1943, Tesla’s faithful assistant, George Scherff, visited Tesla for the last time, Tesla was found deceased in his hotel room on the morning of January 8. 1943. He had passed away between those four days since Scherff’s visit.”

The article continued, “Following Tesla’s death the United States Office of Alien Property, under the instructions of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, confiscated all of Tesla’s papers and property. This was an interesting maneuver considering that Tesla was a United States citizen.”

The significance of this benign description of Tesla’s inventions and his last days has a direct relationship to the previously unknown claims of Otto Skorzeny. As Skorzeny described (to Berman) in detail his involvement with George H. W. Bush (George H. Scherff, Jr.) in organizing the CIA by absorbing Nazi S.S. agents,” he intimated that it was Reinhard Gehlen and himself who murdered Nikola Tesla on January 6, 1943 by strangulation/suffocation.

Prior to the murder, Skorzeny and Gehlen “spoke in great detail to Tesla about his most-advanced technologies and then stole the blueprints of his best, most-secret inventions.” ........"

Did Nicola Tesla's Anti-Gravity machine become what is known as UFO's?

A. During the years of 1935 - Tesla's death in 1943 he apparently designed and he put a paten on his technology. How ever upon his death in the New York hotel, all of his notes went missing. Once again in 1935.

In 1944 - The formation of the C.I.A was written up, this included their tactics to retrieve information that are to this day, inhumane and extremly illegal.

In 1946 the Central Intelligence Group formed

In July of 1947 a ufo crashed in New Mexico, this shows us that the technology needed some work to be perfected, but also a cover-up.

In September of 1947 the CIG is changed into the CIA along with a bill being passed in congress. Called the National Security Act that allowed the CIA to retain its information as top secret and carry out their operations

Is Tesla's anti-gravity machine the technology that has been produced in highly confidential military bases?

The greatest way to bring people together is to unit the people with a common enemy. Today it is terrorism, which is a manufactured enemy which can not be beaten only created, maybe many years down the line it will be aliens to unit the world and giving up our civil liberties.

Ronald Regan can be directly quoted by saying.

"...we often forget all of the that units the members of humanity, perhaps we need some outside universal threat to make us recognize this common bound. I occasionally think how quickly our differences world wide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world..."

September 21 1987 speech to the UN

Maybe its too much to say but one of Tesla's major and last financiers was Percy Avery Rockefeller.

Percy Avery Rockefeller was a skull and bones alum.

The CIA was founded by a skull and bones alum.

Area 51 contains a particle beam accelerator, which was first designed by Nicola Tesla himself as a form of generating FREE ENERGY.

Rockefeller which owns 51% of his paten decided to destroy the technology as he could not profit from it's use.

Tesla seeing its capability as also a weapon greater than the atomic bomb took the design and separated it into several pieces mailing each piece to a different country. So that to build the technology they would all have to build it together preventing one country from using the advanced technology to dominate the world. "

If one reads of the Crab Nebula, 1054 AD, long afore Columbus, that event was recorded at several places around the world, even by American Indians. Everyone that did so, did it correctly, it was a celestial event. To them it was just a new star and was so depicted and recorded.

So man does not always get carried away, there are those that record what they saw, understood or not.

Charlatans involved??? In modern day, yes.

the others, history is replete with such mention

And I am the cynic in training. : )

On the up side, I find comfort knowing that the aliens can stop the lunatics in the US and Israel from wiping out all life on the planet. I'm rooting for the ET's on this one.......we the people are unable to influence our governement.

Like those "chariots of fire" coming down from heaven in the bible. The little space ship paintings found in all ancient civilizations. I agree this phenomenon predates most religions.

“Let’s not forget that the bankers are the next-door neighbours of the politicians. Most people can see the picture: the bankers grease the politicians’ palms, the politicians bail out the bankers with public funds, the bankers pay themselves fat bonuses and loan the money back to the public with interest. It’s essentially a crime spree that benefits a social elite at the expense of many millions of victims.”

If my goal was to replace one religion with another, this is how I would go about it.

If my goals was to replace all religions with one religion, this is how I would do it.

The noblest man will marry the lowest daughter of a base family, if only she brings in money. And a lady will share her bed with a foul rich man, preferring gold to pedigree. Money is all. Good breeds with bad and race is lost. -- Theognis
