A) Rubio is woefully uninformed about major problems with the two big entitlement programs........ or B) he is just blowing smoke of the elderly voters' butts for election purposes. I'm leaning toward B on this one.
That's Florida politics. They deserve representation, just like you and I. Naturally any politician that wants to get elected will pander to his/her constituents.

You have to understand most of them come from elsewhere (the North East, such as New York) and bring their politics with them. And they vote.
Would you support a candidate that was running against your interests? No? Neither will the elderly.
They didnt get old by being stupid. They support who best represents them, in their own opinion.
