I used to despise most country songs until that one.
I just don't understand how women think that being dominant or at least appearing that way will somehow lead to a happy life, oh well that is the essence of feminism, misery.
In fact, if I am seeing someone new and she says she has some expectation of marrriage, to the curb. It is my contention marriage has essentially been outlawed. What we are talking about is a 'civil union'. The 'civil' authorities and the females/attorneys who are involved 'ain't to civil'. Most, just don't get it, they are like the "I want I-phone chick": Too stoopid.
If a woman wants to get married she is stating openly that she is in favor of theft and discrimination of men, her sons, her brother(s) and her father. Most are just plain f*cking too stupid to even have a conversation with.
