This land is mine, God gave this land to me
This brave and ancient land to me
And when the morning sun reveals her hills and plain
Then I see a land where children can run free

So take my hand and walk this land with me
And walk this lovely land with me
Though I am just a man, when you are by my side
With the help of God, I know I can be strong

Though I am just a man, when you are by my side
With the help of God, I know I can be strong

To make this land our home
If I must fight, I'll fight to make this land our own
Until I die, this land is mine
I like to apply these lyrics to my land, America.

I believe you are absolutely correct...America is the promised land for true Israel, the church [Galatians 3:16-29].

Ezekiel 36:11 ["...I will be better to you the second time, than I was at the first"], whole chapter, for one example.

We're in our own Exodus period [Genesis 15:13-14/US Is Still a [Judeo] British Colony/Galatians 3:16,17-29]

===============

edit: ....except that we won't be going anywhere:

II Samuel 7:10 I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, [see also Ezekiel 17:1-6/John 15:1; Ezekiel 34:11-13] that they may dwell in a place of their own and not be moved anymore, and that the children of wickedness will not afflict them anymore as at the beginning.
