I wonder what exactly he planned on doing about it? He should have done whatever he was going to do quicker, because the enemy is not going to wait around to let you ambush them. He should have known this being a General. Maybe he underestimated their power and influence in the USA.

That's interesting because his obituary says he was born in Wrightsville, Pa. and was the son of a Presbyterian minister. When I research the surname name Bazata on ancestry.com it appears to be of Eastern European origin, specifically around Hungary and what was once Czechoslovakia. I can't find any indication that Bazata has anything to do with Lebanon or Jews. I find all kinds of links with the same exact sentence that you cut and paste but nothing that verifies that information. Besides speaking to Robert Wilcox for his book Target: Patton, Bazata admitted in The Spotlight that he was hired by Donovan to kill Patton. I believe that this is probably true. Hell it has been proven to my satisfaction that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor hours, if not days, before it happened but allowed to to happen in order to involve us in WWII. A government that would allow a president to do this and remain quiet (he didn't work in a vacuum) as well as allow doctors to perform Nazi-like medical experiments on its population and the populations of other countries would have no problem killing one General if that government felt he was a threat. That said, unless some sort of proof can be provided, I do not believe Bazata was Jewish.
