i remember it like it was 12 seconds ago,i was sitting on the toilet and i heard the CNN anchor say 'Barak Owhatever has won the nobel peace prize'...talk about projectiles.. i have never evacuated that fast in my...wait..i take that back, i believe it was sen norm coleman was going to introduce a bill that would carve the chimps face on mt. rushmore...that,my friends caused an immediate underwear swap.

that is exactly correct. I feel that President Obama and the Democrats since taking the very large majorities in both houses in January of 2009 have basically accepted all the republican policies of the previous era when republicans controlled the white house & congress. that is why it was obnoxious to see President Obama say in his campaign speech that the republicans have not changed since the last election. Yes they haven't changed, but the dems accepted all their policies. from a practical point of view there is no real difference between the 2 parties. their differences are image only.

I contend that we live in a police state. Because about 2/3's of the Americans will say that all of these wars have been a mistake and we should bring the troops home from everywhere, and yet there are no anti-war views expressed in the mass media and there are no anti-war political candidates.
