It was not the Army Freight Special hitting the Taggart Comet and exploding killing all of the passengers and employees, but an incident which has had a huge impact on my psyche and approach to the conflagration which was just starting to receive mainstream media exposure; a totally unrelated but parallel story which many of us have been following for months and year on these pages and many other blog sites. The accident was between two freight trains and is still, of course according to the story, under investigation. What was unusual, in this authors opinion, is that the incident occurred in broad daylight at four oclock in the afternoon in relatively good weather with clear conditions. I shall establish at this point in this editorial that I am neither a railroad engineer, dispatcher, nor accident investigator, but common sense would tell you that the circumstances behind this incident ares suspect at a minimum. The collision seems to be a microcosm of the American experience since the 196082;s, a certain portion of the novel Atlas Shrugged, and for me a renewal of my previous demands for change within our scrofulous nation. Before as I issue one final plea, one final manifestation, one final admonishment to my readers and our country, a cleansing of the air is in order. I am not nor ever have been a perfect person, citizen, nor individual which represents the virtuous members of our nation. Yet I do attempt to bring a perspective from that of what our civilization once aspired to become, as for many of my short mid-forty plus something years on this earth, I awakened and tried to promote what our modern society in history has achieved. Sadly, once again in my lifetime, which is nothing more than a blink of the eye in the time line of history, a great civilization is at a juncture; one which could possibly drop an Iron Curtain on the shores from where the Mayflower once landed, to the coast where Lewis and Clark once stated, We are now of the opinion that we cannot go any further with our canoes & think we are at an end of our voyage to the Pacific Ocean. A crying, pathetic shame because of the most deadly disease which can inflict a citizenry has expanded beyond the political class as envisioned and implemented by their ilk, and infected every stratum of our society. The illness is not physical, of course, it is purely mental, a result of unfastidious behavior by decades of American citizens refusing to allow our society to function according to the rule of law in order to expedite matters and insure that solutions are found regardless of the Constitutional consequences. The final episode is now unfolding where the most formidable decision facing the American population is about to occur. Do we allow a usurpation of the natural laws inherited from the Founders to insure possession of material acquisitions or shall we acquiesce and succumb to temptation and accept the future as designed by technocrats and economic prostitutes, for the purpose of creature comforts and immediate gratification? It would appear that the majority of the American people have acquiesced to the I want my $500,000 McMansion with three SUVs, two Playstations, HD cable box in every room, and government sustenance as the final solution to nirvana in their lives. The problem is that with this acceptance of the new order, one of total crapulence without regard to our fellow man, unlike the selfishness I support which emerges from personal achievement and labor, it is not one of accomplishment, success, or productivity. It is the desire of the sluggard, one who extracts blood like a leech on the host of the creativity and desires of patriotic souls without care, concern, nor wanton wish of promoting a society of growth outside of their own dependency. The ultimate result in history is no different from those who perished under the sword of Alaric inside Romes gates, yet this time the citizenry welcomes the liquidation of their liberties for personal possessions as opposed to the concept of profit to assist and expand the nation-state. Tis a shame as the latter at least holds a selfish and more glorious honor which is less pathetic and contemptuous from the perspective of the rest of the world after what our people have accomplished throughout our historic rise. Thus with this final call, one might inquire as to why one who is so self-centered and occupied with success, according to the unenlightened, might dare to aspire for the failure of all to save the future. That answer is perhaps the least complex solution to a problem which has vexed yours truly for years. The ideals I have pursued are those of self-achievement, be that of those in a domestic environs or externally for the proverbial profit for oneself to improve the capitalistic society as a whole. No more. The apparent unwillingness of the masses to accept responsibility and endure the hangover of the mosquito who has consumed the entire blood production of a pachyderm then cries because its belly is swollen in pain beyond belief presented an opportunity for me to reflect on our origins and realize that the majority would rather continue to consume the rapidly drying source of blood rather than become self-sufficient via the gift of God-given creativity. This new American paradigm is not unique in history as many a society elected to follow this route rapidly into an ultimate denouement. Sadly I must be the one to inform you that unlike the times of old, when prior perceived higher civilizations had decades to make decisions that would be revered by generations to prevent such a collapse, our new systemic design insures self immolation in hours rather than decadal cycles. Thus why the current version of the American experiment must be allowed to conclude with a thunderous demise. For the greater good of mankind. Thus without shame or whimpering like our politicians, without regret nor hindsight, I declare that America must accept a call to fail or perish forever from this Earth. George Washington once declared America to be the Great Experiment and his vision succeeded far beyond the wildest fantasies of those who survived the first generations of our society. Unfortunately for the Founders, every concern expressed in the late eighteenth century has now become a reality, where a centralized fiefdom superseded the premise of individual accomplishment. The ideals of our nations laws were based on were those of founding a nation of men, not for men. Sadly that lesson has been lost in the politically correct translation that men is an offensive terminology of the era, not to be acknowledged except by those married to archaic theories of civilization based on freedom and true Liberty. Thus those who deny the right of contract, Thus those who exploited the freedoms of this nation, Thus those who voted for political elites who extorted from others to allow their own houses to prosper, Thus those who believed that resources were for all, not for those that earned and learned how to use, acquire, and prosper by them, Thus those who attack the creators and refuse to acknowledge that the individual constructs a nation, and not the reverse; A pox upon your beliefs and house. Thus it is now the time for the creators to truly go on strike, as many already have. This strike though is not purely that of a Randian fantasy nor delusion. It is to save a nation created by Gods wisdom; an endowment by providing the individual an opportunity to acknowledge and use the blessings which allow freedom to be the guiding light, not to obscure desire with success, but to allow universal liberty to create success. Unless America, and Americans, are allowed to fail now at its darkest moment, we shall perish in the flames our our own eminence, devouring a world which is begging for this nation to reclaim the mantle of hegemony to prevent the darkness from descending on all.
