Excellent op/ed, except .gov's been picking our pockets for more like 87 years. Thanks for the post.
It's actually been 97 years. Also, it was a ONE percent tax on Tea and goods that created the impetus for the Boston Tea Party.

What happened to the cry for non-intervention? What happened to doing away with the federal reserve? What happened to dismantling the warfare part of the welfare/warfare state?
