Have there really been more wars under democratic presidents than republican presidents? If so then isn't it ironic that the democratic party are labeled as the "peace-mongers"? How about the draft system under the democratic presidents? Wheres the connection between the draft system and the democratic and republican presidents?

In the twentieth century, every war has been led by a democrat in the white house with the exception of the Persian Gulf Conflict. WWI, Wilson, WWII, Roosevelt, Korea, Truman, Vietnam, Johnson. People will say its the republicans in congress, but since 1931, the republicans have been inpower a total of 16 years, many times the democrats held a filibuster proof majority, especially during the vietnam war, at one point in the 70s, there was a 74-16 democrat majority. and even so, the president has to present it to congress and sign it into action.

Beyond Eisenhower initiating the war in South Vietnam and the so-called "COLD_WAR" with the USSR .....

Richard Nixon – 1969-1974 (R)

Secretly expanded the Vietnam war to include Cambodia and Laos, while simultaneously calling himself a peacemaker.

Ronald Reagan – 1981 – 1989 (R)

Violated US and international law by selling weapons to Iran to fund the Contras in Nicaragua. Also sold weapons to Iraq to use to fight Iran. Single-handedly saved an American jelly bean company. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1994, but suspected of having it during his presidency, if his answers to the Iran-Contra investigation are any guideline.

George H. W. Bush – 1989-1993 (R)

Started a war in Panama and another in Iraq, but it wasn’t until 10 years later that his son could announce “Mission Accomplished” in Iraq. Pardoned many of the Iran-Contra conspirators.

George W. Bush – 2001-2009 (R)

Responding to the worst attacks on American soil, started two wars, one of which actually managed to fight the people that were tangentially related to the ones that attacked us.

The real bad guy is Truman. On his watch, he initiated the UN. Signed the War Powers Act and the National Security Act.

All three of these deceitful entities have created all the serious grief for America, particularly the National Security Act..... it authorized the CIA, America's Archilles Tendon, which has created all this world wide chatter no matter who the President was after 1948 or shall ever be.

Truman was no better or worse than all the other leaders that have been chosen for us. But since I hardly believe that myself, I've done a token amount of research:
