A man that takes it upon himself to replace one god with another assumes a heavy burden. It is a greater task than most mortals are capable of bearing.
The likes of individuals like La Vey and Crowley are not decent people. These men certainly didn't walk in the light. Those that tread in their footsteps are walking a dark, dark path.

These were scary men indeed.
Even scarier are the chowderheads and perverts that follow them willingly. Crowley was attached to British Intelligence so I have come to wonder if his entire schtick was not an intelligence operation directed by MI-6's Tavistock Institute.
La Vey I don't know a lot about and generally find such philosophies so repellent that I only delve into them when I must to understand their linkages to other forces in our society.
Tavistock Institute - Crowlley - Laurel Canyon - La Vey - murder - assassination - cultural subversion
Exactly. Our psychotic so-called "elites" have a very warped perspective and their trained seal Psychiatrists are busy trying to degrade the culture down to their level. Such things as most people find good - such as common decency, morality, ethical dealings, etc., ... are an anathema to them. They want to "normalize" their own sick behavior by destroying the culture of decency which acts as a constant rebuke to their sick behavior.
"What basic psychological distortion can be found in every civilization of which we know anything? The only psychological force capable of producing these perversions is morality--the concept of right and wrong. The re-interpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong are the belated objectives of nearly all psychotherapy." ~ Dr. G. Brock Chisholm, Psychiatrist, Co-Founder World Federation of Mental Health
