Well, the new drive to pull in almost $400,000.00 every year now just isn't enough to keep the boxes up.

TOS crashed about an hour ago as far as I can tell - it's still four-paws-up.

The fix? $500,000.000 per year, no doubt ....... and a stack of Olive Garden gift cards.

They've got some Super Geniuses running that server farm, all right. All that money, and a text-based chat room can't keep up in an off year.

Pretty lame, eh?

Guilty. Me with some script suggestions from Liberator.

I hadn't checked it but after it came back online, YouTube had disabled the embedding. I re-enabled it and it should now work again.

It was just a quickie. I still have all my video source and scripting. I really should remake it, improve the scripting because a few phrases go by too fast to read.

liberator and I just recycled as many well-worn shots at TOS as we could. Olive Garden and breadsticks, the legendary Packard-Bell 486sx, etc. All standard fare for the Biker Bar threads at TOS1.

I should remake it as the BobJ references are already a bit dated now. And some of the text goes by way too fast.

Yes, I don't know what program you use and I am sure you know more about it than I do but I have had pretty good luck with overstream. Took a little time to figure it out but it works well and you could slow your captions down some with it. Of course you probably can with whatever you used.

But some of that stuff you guys had on that one, about Howlin' not posting since she sobered up and whoever the other one was always going on about that cokehead Bush, those were definitely some good lines.

I've heard good things about Overstream, a few complaints too.

I used Quicktime 7 Pro on the Mac and the Perian codec pack (with external subtitles enabled). I got a 1.5GB version of the Downfall movie off Demonoid. I constructed the subtitles with a text editor and then exported the movie (including hard subtitles) to a Quicktime MOV file which I then uploaded.
