I felt this needed it's own thread since the noise on GDT Raw Story report would have been impossible to break through.

Raw Story

Below are two articles that contradict his posting. Both are dated 11/5/10, and the first is written by Boehner himself. It's hard to believe he would go on Fox, Thursday, 11/4, state what GDT reports, and then author the WSJ article the next day. Let me say all these "leaders" need close watching, but I suggest we get things right before we jump the gun.

I have no idea what report(s) are correct at this moment, and if Raw Story is indeed more accurate that the WSJ, the Republican Party will blow a large hole in it's foot, thus allowing Tea Party folk to fully separate from the vehicle they used to carry them into congress.

I suggest we read the articles, and put the rope back in the closet until we know more.

I have maintained a no-earmarks policy throughout my time of service in Congress. I believe the House must adopt a moratorium on all earmarks as a signal of our commitment to ending business as usual in the spending process. *******

buck, I watched the tube. You might be surprised who supports illegals on 4um, and who in turn supports them. I'm not included in their anti-American cabal, nor are you. There is no in between on that issue for me. It's a nation killer.

The flipside of the protectionists or supporters for illegal aliens invading America are the same as those begging to support Israel and other cockamamie nations (usually under the suspicious umbrella of "national security"). It is a shame they don't realize their own treason and tyranny.

These same treasonous faith based or financially based cowards may pray to God in heaven; they may beg for forgiveness from someone akin to government in Washington DC; they may rationalize their cheap charlatan tricks with family and loved ones but they can not run from a high powered projectile from a good firearm with a well trained shooter pulling the trigger.

There are plenty of forums out there where one can defend the leftist/democrat/progressive road to a euro-peon surf state, do you want 4um to be one of them?

I have only see one person do this and that is Red Jones. But then I am unable to visit f4um as much as I used to so I miss a lot.

Do you want to try to sabotage and stifle the Tea party movement, promote prejudice in the minds of lurkers before good men like Rand Paul and Allen West have even taken office?

I do not believe that being skeptical of the Tea Party movement is sabotaging and/or stifling the Tea Party movement. I have not forgotten the actions of the Republican Party during the time they had complete control of Congress. As far as I could tell tea Party candidates ran on the exact same platform as their Republican counterparts - small government, less taxes and perpetual war. As I've stated previously, I do not believe that it is possible to have small government and perpetual war. I also believe it is fiscally irresponsible as well as unsustainable to have tax cuts while continuing to spend like drunken sailors on perpetual wars and entitlements.

Having said that, I will wait patiently and see what happens (as if I have a choice LOL). Maybe my skepticism will be shown to be misplaced. I would like that.

Are you so selfish and jealous that you are mad that the first real change to come to America since the civil war comes through the Republican Party and not some 2% of the vote third party that you advocate obstructing it?

Voicing skepticism and pointing out double-talk isn't blocking sunlight. I have voiced legitimate questions concerning the views of Tea Party candidates. Questions not being addressed by the government's propaganda news channels or talking heads.
