That is cool.

And if you assume roughly constant density, it helps solve some problems with dinosaurs.

Subduction is a fact. In an expanding Earth (never mind what processes could possibly cause it), none of the plates would subduct under one another.

It's an interesting idea, but doesn't hold water. Speaking of which, geologists say there was less land-to-water in the distant past, not more, as the animation would suggest.

That, plus the fact the Earth rotates counter-clockwise when North is at the top.

Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.
If you believe in small government, then you shouldn't be in the White House.

I'm not so sure about that.

I think it does and lots of it.

Speaking of which, geologists say there was less land-to-water in the distant past, not more, as the animation would suggest.

You might like Part 2 better then. Have some popcorn and expand your horizons a bit. Geologists don't know everything.

That, plus the fact the Earth rotates counter-clockwise when North is at the top.

Well, I suppose that depends on whether or not there's an artistic license involved for the sense of going backward in time.
