it takes an insider to be a whistleblower to catch them precisely because the government doesn't care how much money they take.

I posted an article here saying that it costs $50 million to kill one Taliban soldier. and I doubt if that includes all the spending in afghanistan. there are a lot of foreigners that live in Kabul and make very high wages/salaries working for the 're-building' effort. Yet ordinary Afghans are very poor.

Just like in Iraq it is a money hole done on purpose. Why? The more borrowing our government does the more profits the federal reserve makes. Our popular ideology is that all businesses make all decisions for the sake of profits. Our business colleges at the universities have been drilling this into the heads of young managers for decades. But we all understand in our popular ideology that the exception to this rule is the federal reserve. They would never organize things to maximize their profits. and the government would never conspire to help maximize their profits. < / sickness >
