Don't forget those two nasty depressed Columbine murderers taking prescribed medication because of doctor's orders.
After Harris complained of depression, anger, and suicidal thoughts at a meeting with his psychiatrist, he was prescribed the anti-depressant Zoloft. He complained about restlessness and a lack of concentration to his doctor, and in April was switched to a similar drug, Luvox. At the time of his death, Harris had therapeutic Luvox levels in his system. Some analysts, such as psychiatrist Peter Breggin, have argued that one or both of these medications may have contributed to Harris's actions. It has been claimed that side-effects of these drugs include increased aggression, loss of remorse, depersonalization and mania.
I saw that one about a week ago on Facebook, well, I can tell you social anxiety/phobia is real, I know because I believe myself to suffer from it, no other explanation exists. But, I do also know that medication would do me no good, and in fact would make things worse, because self-medicating on alcohol up to Oct. '05 didn't do me any good.. it only made me worse.
The best way of fighting one's psychological problems is to face your demons down, not by burying your head in the prescription drugs.

You're an Irish Brit, yes? -- and probably like tea? Try drinking tea with Valerian. It's natural and relaxing. I recommend the Celestial Seasonings brand. This is not to be construed as medical advice or an infomercial. Just a friendly, neighborhood chat.

No, I'm a full blown Irishman, my handle seens to create a lot of confusion. lol
But, I do like tea as it happens. The Irish drink as much tea as the British. lol I might try your suggestion, it'll make a nice change from Lyons Tea. lol
Solutions for Ireland. Say NO to the IMF/World bank. Default on our debt. Print our own debt free currency. Nationalise the trillion euros worth of gas and oil off our west coast. Take back our fishing (200 billion worth). Get our farmers growing again. Done deal if our politicians had the backbone. ~ Jim Corr
