What do think about this 'Title'?
Only if they do something drastic such as a nuclear war. Interestingly, statistically, birth rates go up following major wars. The species acts to protect itself by producing new progeny in great abundance. Look at the "Baby Boom" following WWII as it is among the most marked. Threats to survival inspire reproduction and people literally get hornier in the face of death.

That's the plan, except it seems to have hit a snag or two. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is a counter force at work and its effect is beginning to be felt.

The snags I see are the huge number of Muslims that are willing to die on a personal basis. That mania defies all other human traits. The other snag is the two huge populated countries, China and India, sheer numbers to be eradicated even in a nuclear war.
I'm guessing, despite industrialisation of both countries, that their populations are still mostly rural? Which would make it more difficult to depopulate those countries using nuclear weapons.
Solutions for Ireland. Say NO to the IMF/World bank. Default on our debt. Print our own debt free currency. Nationalise the trillion euros worth of gas and oil off our west coast. Take back our fishing (200 billion worth). Get our farmers growing again. Done deal if our politicians had the backbone. ~ Jim Corr

Mao said Nikitas laughter faded and his face went white. Now India and China are in the two BILLION range, to the point that thinning the herd may not be doable or manageable.
Indeed, remarkable to note that nuclear bombs are actually an inefficient depopulator.. tell that to CND. lol
